Customer Review: “I just received it. So far I love it. The child safety lock is easy to deal with. I absolutely love the melt and steam clean setting. I often melt butter and it does it very well. I also saw the keep warm setting which will be very useful it also has reheat beverage and potatoe settings. It is very small. It only fits a small plate but I am single with 2 cats so it’s fine for me. I like to warm their food a little for them, reheat leftovers and occasionally cook frozen vegetables and frozen dinners so it’s perfect for me. I like the size because I have a small kitchen with very limited counter space. I also like that it only has 700 watts to save electricity and it doesn’t over-burden my circut breakers. Excellent value for the money. Well worth it.”

Customer Review: “What can I say. It’s a microwave and it works as it should, but one of my favorite features is that you can change the volume of the beeps and noises. I wake up earlier than the rest of the family, so having these quieter alerts makes it nice so I don’t have to wake up the rest of the house cooking my breakfast. It fits exactly where the old one used to and was easy to install with the help of one other person to hold it in place for mounting. The interior is very easy to clean.I sometimes use different power levels other than just full blast, and the way to adjust the power levels is a little different than what I was used to, but after I figured it out it was an easy adjustment for me. The LED interior light makes it nice and bright inside, and overall a great value for the features that are included.”

Customer Review: “Works great, really happy with it. Some other reviewers complained about the plug. It’s a non-issue. Either replace your existing receptacle if you have to or installed in a new kitchen install the correct receptacle. A microwave should be on a dedicated 20A circuit anyway, but it would be fine on 15A it only draws 8 on 120V power. I cut off the plug and hardwired mine it’s inside a cabinet anyway. For half the price of a similar product from a name brand this one is working really well.”

It’s a nice compact size but quite powerful, easy to use control panel and the Air Fry function was an extra benefit and works well too. Our last Japanese brand microwave oven last almost 20 years so hopefully the product reliability will be there for the GE one. I would have like to have a more detailed user manual included with the product. We’ve only been a it for a little over a month and I plan to provide a more detailed review in the future.”

Customer Review: “Admit, I bought this oven primarily for its size, but am finding its versatility impressive. The, “combi,” mode, in particular, makes for the best mixed vegetable dishes. I cook raw, cut up, seasoned and olive oil spritzed root veggies for twelve minutes, then add frozen vegetables to the same glass roasting pan, spritz once more, toss and cook for another twelve to fourteen minutes and they’re delicious. The air fry mode works well, too. The oven is quiet, and the lights are not annoyingly bright. Am finding the buttons easy to read even for my older eyes (I don’t cook in the dark) and the hot oven warning beep stops immediately upon pushing the, “cancel/off,” button. Looks nice on the counter, too. Overall, consider it a fabulous value and a fine replacement for my microwave. Am thoroughly enjoying this new oven.”

Customer Review: “I’ve had this microwave for a few months now. The packaging was perfect upon arrival. It works great. Food seems to cook faster than my old microwave, which is fine. I’m used to it now. The “all white” color was exactly what I was looking for. It is great in my modern white kitchen. It’s a great size to fit under kitchen cabinets. Not tiny dorm size. Not gigantic. Really pretty perfect! My only issue that was confusing was the automatic “childproof latch”. It’s not that complicated to turn off, but I was a bit confused at first. All you do it turn a phillips head screwdriver into the locking screw. It turns it off permanently or until you choose to reactivate it. See diagram in my photos. The directions come in the box also.”

Customer Review: “Delivery via UPS was a nightmare, but the oven more than made up for that. My first impression is that it’s bigger than I thought it’d be (I can never envision things when measurements are stated). I thought it would be considerably smaller than my discarded microwave but, in fact, it’s bigger.First thing you have to know: The child lock is very easy to disable so do it before it makes you think the door won’t open or before it annoys you. One of the customer videos shows how to do this (click the video link then look down the right side of the video section and you’ll find it).Second, try it out immediately before tossing the box into your recycling bin. Some reviewers found fault with its performance and if you get one of those lemons, you’re going to need the box to send it back. The oven does make noise while it’s working so don’t let the noise (which is minor) upset you. It’s just how it works. Some even complain about the beeps when the food is done cooking. I like the beeps. I can hear them two rooms away (all very open space) and it lets me know when it’s time to go back in the kitchen. It’s really not very loud, but I could hear it even with the TV on.I thought, at first, it’d be impossible to set cooking time till I saw the button for time cook and saw that it disables those preset time on the 1 thru 6 buttons. It adds one more step to setting the time cook function but I found that it bothers me not at all. Setting the clock is also super easy. I don’t know if I’ll ever use the special function buttons, but I may try out the popcorn one sometime. Reheat is also interesting. I can attest to the success of microwaving a frozen meal. Worked perfectly.The enclosed instructions said you can adjust the power but I couldn’t figure out how to do because the instructions didn’t explain that. I asked Rufus and the answer solved my problem. First press the “time cook” button, press the buttons for the time you want to cook, press the power button and then enter the level on the key pad (that’s the part Rufus knew that I didn’t know), then hit start. Till Rufus said to enter the level on the key pad, I just kept pressing the power button and nothing changed. It stayed at high. I had thought I was going to have to return the oven and reorder it, so I’m giving Rufus a standing ovation for his help.If I had to come up with a complaint it would be the visibility of the buttons. That could just be my problem because my vision isn’t great. I solved the problem by putting a small lamp where the light falls on the buttons.It wasn’t easy to find an oven with the right wattage and color from a company I can trust, but I have one of the GE Cafe toaster ovens and absolutely love it so I took the plunge after reading reviews for a bunch of other microwave ovens and seeing how few seemed to have low numbers of one-star reviews. Compared to others, this one is a champ. I also narrowed my search to ovens sold by Amazon rather than third party sellers because Amazon is easier to deal with than some third parties are (which I discovered when shopping for both microwaves and computers recently).Overall, I like this microwave more than I liked the Panasonic I had for many years, and I loved that one — thus, this is a winner.”
