Customer Review: I have used this baby monitor and camera for almost a full year and it has been amazing, and especially impressive at this price point. Set up was very easy and there are several mounting options available for purchase. The picture quality is good, the volume is adjustable (I turn it up at bedtime to make sure I hear it), and the battery life when not plugged in is great (I usually get a full two days from one charge).Customer service has been incredibly helpful and prompt with a response whenever I have a question.I am expecting again and now plan to purchase the split screen option, which the cameras I already purchased are compatible with. What a relief!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This is exactly what I was looking for! I love that it was FSA approved, simple and straightforward to use. I had another monitor that was touchscreen and was honestly super annoying to deal with. The battery life is also great & I love that the screen doesn’t time out. The camera quality isn’t the best, but it’s not bad by any means. I just don’t feel the need to have a monitor with all extra bells and whistles so it’s absolutely perfect for my needs!
Customer Review: We’ve had this monitor now for about 6 months and we love it. The battery life is ok…could be better but honestly it’s not too hard to keep it plugged in most of the time. The camera image is very clear, I love that you can remote control the angle (our last one you couldn’t and now idk that I’ll ever be able to have one that’s not able to do that). We’ve taken it on many trips and the whole set is really durable. My son’s even managed to throw one of the cameras onto our concrete floor and it held up great. I love that it mutes the white noise from his sound machine but then comes on when he cries or even farts lol. That makes it easier for me to sleep to not have ALL the sounds coming through. Signal strength is great. My son’s room is at the back of our house and I often work out in our garage or go outside to do yard work and with the intenna up the signal reaches well. Overall, highly recommend.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: We started out with a Blemil unit and 2 cameras and wanted to get 2 more cameras with a different head unit to watch our kids in two other rooms. That way one head unit could be for their rooms when they sleep and the other for when they’re up and playing. If you look in the first picture, the two boxes are for another set of Blemil cameras and this set. If you can tell the difference, good for you. All this tells me is that these cameras and head units are most likely using the same internals and only varying their casing. You can see in the second image that the setups for the monitors are using the same icons and such. Aside from how to change the volume/brightness, these monitors work the exact same. The image quality looks the exact same. And for the money, their image quality is good. I don’t see a point in paying a lot of money for a fancy camera. Getting cheaper ones like this means I can get more cameras and more viewpoints, or have one that’s easier to travel around with if necessary. The monitors are bright if you want a bright light. Setting up the cameras was easy (they came paired out of the box). And the interface is easy to learn.I got this set for a dollar less than I got the Blemil set. Honestly, just go with whichever set is cheaper. And if another brand comes up that looks like these cameras and is a little cheaper, then go with that. These are all likely manufactured from the same place then rebranded. So there really is no reason to be brand loyal here. Still, well worth the money. Highly recommend.
Customer Review: I purchased the monitor for my 89-year-old mother who broke a bow. It turned out to be a wonderful thing not only could I watch her, but I could also hear her if I wasn’t in the room. Awesome product wish they had these when my kids were young.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I purchased the two camera system for our grand kids when the sleep over at our house. Our granddaughter has epilepsy so having the high resolution display is very comforting knowing we can easily seem if she has an episode. Also, I was in communication with Kokit and found them excellent to work with. They were very expeditious in answering my questions and nice to work with. I highly recommend this system – even my daughter and son-in-law were amazed at the quality and are likely going to upgrade to the Kokit system as well.
Customer Review: Purchased this so that we could see our newest baby (3 months) and still have eyes on our toddler (2 years old). Our toddler likes to be spoken to over the camera to get settled sometime so that was important to us.The screen is REALLY big! You can adjust it to show one camera or two, which is great! Sound quality is perfect! Extremely easy set up, plug in and go. Haven’t experienced any lag and we’ve had it for a month now. 10/10 recommend!

Cons:

- Charging port is proprietary, not USB-C as some might expect.
- Cameras can occasionally disconnect via WiFi, requiring a power cycle.
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I upgraded from my single cam VTECH setup to this dual cam one when I had my second baby. I love that I can use either the handheld monitor or my phone, and switch between direct connection or WiFi as desired. Picture quality is great, settings for the app and the handheld are great. Setup is really straightforward. The only hiccup I’ve ever come across is just needing to power cycle the cameras sometimes as they’ll disconnect via WiFi sometimes.Photos reflect picture quality seen in-app. Camera is roughly 3ft above the top of the crib and bassinet, mounted to the wall.
Customer Review: I want to love this monitor so bad but it truly has been an issue since we got it. I’ve had this monitor for 15 months now. The kick stand of the monitor is very flimsy and that broke within the first couple of months. Also the charging port is not USB-c like advertised. I liked that it would have had the same charging cord as everything else in our house. And now, all of a sudden this week, the monitor will not stay connected to the camera (and yes I am in range). The monitor has started disconnecting in the middle of the night and by morning it’s not working anything. If I unplug the camera and plug it back in it will reconnect. I have tried both cameras and it is doing the same thing. VTECH customer service is less than helpful and I am stuff at this point in what to do. This monitor seems to be the best option, but for the money I expect better.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: We absolutely love this monitor. The video quality is sharp, even at night, and the app is easy to use and reliable. The breathing and sleep tracking give us extra peace of mind, and notifications are quick and accurate. Setup was simple, and everything worked right away. It’s definitely on the premium side, but worth it for the quality and features.
Customer Review: This baby monitor is absolutely amazing!! Best purchase for baby we have made! However the cry translation feature is inaccurate and don’t find it useful, actually a bit annoying. It was incredibly easy to setup, I love the fact that it comes with a mount for the crib. The main feature that sold me was the breathing indicator. My son sleeps like a rock at night and if it wasn’t for the breathing monitor, I would be checking on him every 5-10 minutes because he doesn’t move. It’s really nice to have that reassurance to calm my mom anxiety. The camera and audio quality are top notch too. I highly highly highly recommend this baby monitor! Yes it’s very expensive but well worth it.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Do you ever buy a baby monitor and you know something is going to lacking? Like you just know you are going to be sacrificing something? I’m serious when I say not with this monitor. I have tried at least five different ones from Amazon and I ended up having an issue with every single one. Here is why I was SO pleasantly surprised by this monitor:Pros:- the sound ROTATES ROOMS! Every 10/15 seconds it rotates rooms so you can hear both rooms. Most monitors you have to manually flip it and I needed a monitor I could hear both- because of the size, I can see the kids whole room. Huge plus when friends are over and we need to keep an eye on everyone- the lenses are WIDE angle!! This means in split scree mode, I can see a LOT of the room (which means I can have the whole crib or bed in view even in split screen mode).- speaking of split screen, it is a split screen!! I want to always see both my kids and this does exactly that.- easy charging. This takes USB-C and I can use my charging cables I already have. I do t need to remember a “special” cable. Huge.- it shows the time on the screen. I didn’t realize how awesome this was until I used it as a clock in the middle of the night. Now when the kids wake up I know what time it is right away.- separate volume and brightness buttons. No more hitting so so many buttons to just adjust volume. Quick and easy.- picture is incredibly clear. Actually incredibly clear. I can see my kids breathe, the out lines of their faces, and toys they left in their bed. It’s great.Overall so many things that I love and needed and never found all in one baby monitor. Couldn’t recommend it more.
Customer Review: Update 2/21/26: Have used it 4 months. It’s been on all day of every day. Zero issues at all. Baby’s room is on the top floor and the screen works all the way in our basement. Same with going outside to the hot tub – still works. One thing I have LOVED that I didn’t know I needed: the VOX setting (I think is what it’s called). The absolute best feature on this thing… Basically what it is is that there is no sound coming out of this device until the baby makes noise. We use white noise in her room so with a regular camera I would then hear the white noise all night on my screen. But I don’t want to hear noise unless I need to hear noise? So this device basically mutes itself until it hears the baby and then turns on. Also, previous cameras I’ve used have had the little light bar on the side that moves up and down as it hears noise…hated that thing. It’s so bright when you’re trying to sleep even if the baby’s not making noise. But there’s no light bar on this one. So for me personally, huge improvement. 10/10 recommend. You know how something seems like WAY too good to be true so you’re just waiting for it to fail? That’s where I’m at with this. I’m immediately enamored with this thing, which can only mean it won’t last or something horrible 😅This is by FAR the best monitor I’ve fired up. I’m 3 kids in now and this thing has ALL the features I’m looking for.1. Parent viewing device (no wifi/cloud) to ensure privacy.2. CLEAR picture (thank you Jesus! Finally!)3. USB-C so I can take it all over the house with me and charge it wherever I’m using all my other USB-C devices… So convenient.4. HUGE screen so I can actually see what I’m looking at.Other bonuses – the talking feature through the microphone is weirdly clear… It sounds just like my voice. My last one was so fake sounding it scared my kid!!!The bendy arm it came with for the crib is a real value add – it actually worked and wasn’t cheap. I appreciate the flexibility (hehe) of not having to put holes in my wall. Not sure how practical it’ll be with my 1 year old since I assume she’ll happily rip it off her crib rail when she wakes in the morning. But perhaps I can attach it to something nearby. The buttons have a nice feel to them, the menu is easy to navigate and it feels like a good amount of bells and whistles without adding a bunch of fluff I don’t need. The only thing I can’t speak to is how long it will last but MAN am I praying it does because this thing is SWEET!!!!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: We have newborn twins and purchased this because of the two cameras / split screen mode options. We are super impressed! We have only used the system for one week, but so far, so good! The image is clear, and when the camera is positioned well, the 4x zoom lets me see the rise and fall of their chests. The volume isn’t extremely loud, but is definitely loud enough. The corner of the screen also lights up when there’s sound. We also appreciate the temperature being displayed on the screen for each room, and how simple the menu is to navigate. We charge it during the day and the battery lasts easily all night and then some. The babies also seemed to like the music feature. My only feedback to the makers would be–the little kickstand/prop in the back isn’t centered, so the monitor falls easily when on a soft surface like carpet or bedding…and I like that the buttons don’t light up because it means the monitor isn’t brighter than it needs to be, but they’re hard to distinguish in the dark by feeling, so making them a little more raised would be helpful. Also, an option for the monitor screen to not be so bright 🙂 but these would be bonuses. This system has been SO convenient for twins! Once the babies are sleeping in the same bedroom, we plan to use the second camera in our play area.
Customer Review: Overall very impressed with the purchased. I was able to get it on a sale for like 20% off and was worried about the quality. My goal was for a product that was wifi only with ability to move around and good sound/mic quality and it hits all the boxes. Bonus of a large screen. I was concerned about of the F grade on the reviews, but came out moderately impressed given there are more expensive models that I could’ve gone for.Battery life – seems to be solid although its hard to tell. Our baby is on the way so have not put this to the test yet. My main gripe is that they choose to use a proprietary connector when they could’ve easily used as USB-C or any common connector so you can just plug it now. Now you have to have it plugged in with their charge.Size – 7″ screen. fantastic. My MIL always squints so shes going to appreciate this when shes helping outScreen/Quality/Brightness: quality of images isn’t like going to be ultraHD unfortunately. I’d say they are close to 720p at the most, but enough to see all the details of what’s going on.Camera: Very responsive with minimal lag. Quiet in movements although can hear it. Sound and mic quality great. Pivoting up and down with nearly 360 turning is fantastic.Overall, for this price point, would give it 5 stars. There’s obviously better improvements to be had, but you would be hard pressed to find them with 2 cameras and this large of a screen. Even if you take the price out of it, I’d still be giving this about 4 stars as there are options with better camera quality and probably mic sensitivity.
Complete Buying Guide for Best Baby Monitor For 2 Kids
Essential Factors We Consider
When you’re looking for the best baby monitor for 2 kids, there are a few key things that really make a difference. First off, a split-screen baby monitor is almost non-negotiable. Being able to see both children simultaneously, without manually switching feeds, saves so much hassle and anxiety. Look for models with clear displays, ideally IPS screens, which offer better viewing angles and color accuracy.
Connectivity is another big one. Many parents prefer a no-WiFi baby monitor for security reasons, relying on a secure 2.4GHz FHSS connection. This direct connection ensures privacy and often has a strong, stable signal that works throughout your home. If you’re considering a smart monitor that connects to your phone, make sure it has robust encryption and reliable app performance. Battery life on the parent unit is also super important; you want something that can last through the night without needing to be plugged in constantly. Lastly, features like remote pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ), two-way talk, and good night vision are crucial for getting a full view of both nurseries and interacting with your little ones.
Budget Planning
Finding the perfect baby monitor for 2 kids doesn’t necessarily mean spending a fortune. There are fantastic options across all price points. On the more budget-friendly side, you can find reliable monitors with dual cameras and split-screen capability, often focusing on essential features like clear video, night vision, and two-way talk. These might have smaller screens or shorter battery life, but they get the job done effectively.
Mid-range monitors often offer larger screens, better battery performance, and more advanced PTZ features. You might also start seeing additional conveniences like temperature monitoring or soothing lullabies. For premium options, you’re looking at things like 1080p HD resolution, exceptionally long battery life (up to 100 hours!), smart features with app integration, and advanced tracking technologies like breathing monitors. It’s important to decide which features are absolute must-haves for your family and then find a monitor that fits within your budget while still delivering on those priorities.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the best baby monitor for 2 kids is all about finding the right balance of features, security, and ease of use for your unique family. Whether you opt for a secure no-WiFi split screen baby monitor or a smart system that integrates with your phone, the goal is always peace of mind. Consider how many rooms you need to monitor, the size of your home, and any specific features that would make your life easier, like long battery life or specific tracking capabilities. A good monitor helps you feel connected to your children, ensuring you can keep them safe and sound, even when you’re not right by their side.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I really need a split-screen monitor for two children?
A: While you could technically use two separate single-camera monitors, a split-screen baby monitor is incredibly convenient for two children. It allows you to see both nurseries simultaneously on one parent unit, eliminating the need to toggle between cameras or manage multiple devices. This provides a much clearer overview and instant peace of mind.
Q: Are no-WiFi monitors safe for two kids?
A: Yes, no-WiFi baby monitors are often considered more secure because they use a direct 2.4GHz FHSS connection between the camera and the parent unit. This means your video and audio feed isn’t transmitted over the internet, reducing the risk of hacking. They are a great choice for parents prioritizing privacy and a stable, local connection.
Q: How important is battery life for a baby monitor for two kids?
A: Battery life is very important, especially when monitoring two children. A monitor with a long battery life (e.g., 20+ hours) means you can carry the parent unit around your home or use it overnight without constantly worrying about finding a charging spot. This is especially helpful if you’re frequently moving between rooms or have a larger home.
Q: Can I add more cameras to a baby monitor for 2 kids if I have more children later?
A: Many dual-camera baby monitors for 2 kids are expandable, meaning you can often purchase additional cameras separately and pair them with your existing parent unit. It’s always a good idea to check the product specifications or user manual to confirm compatibility and maximum camera support if you anticipate needing more than two cameras in the future.
Q: What’s the benefit of Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras?
A: PTZ cameras allow you to remotely adjust the camera’s view (pan left/right, tilt up/down, and zoom in/out) from your parent unit. This is incredibly beneficial for monitoring two active children, as you can easily follow their movements in the crib or playpen without physically entering the room and disturbing them.
Choosing the right best baby monitor for 2 kids is a big decision, but with so many excellent options available, you’re sure to find one that fits your family’s needs perfectly. From large split screens to secure no-WiFi connections and impressive battery life, these monitors are designed to give you peace of mind and allow you to keep a watchful eye on both your little ones with ease.
