Customer Reviews
Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. Great price for such an amazing and convenient camera. It’s the perfect size for what I needed. I use for both the baby while we take the toddler outside, or even when my toddler plays outside and I need to walk into the house for something. It has good sound and camera quality super durable and easy to use
Customer Review: I don’t generally review very much. However I will make an exception for this product. This baby monitor was one of the less expensive ones and it has some great features like room temperature and the ability to play Lullabies that led me to purchase it. I bought it in April and unfortunately in June something happened to the charging port that led to its failure. It just wouldn’t stay on unless I was wiggling the cord. Not necessarily reflective on the monitor, these type of issues can happen in anything regardless of the price. What stood out to me, and what led me to leave this review was the customer service. I wrote to the seller and explained what was going on. There was no fuss, no trying to get out of responsibility. No issues whatsoever. I was simply told we apologize we’re sending you a new one. That to me was amazing and something I greatly appreciate. I would definitely recommend purchasing this baby monitor. The quality of the picture is excellent and it works well and it is always good to know that if something does fail you are buying it from people that will stand behind their product.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: We absolutely love our Nanit baby camera and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The video quality is incredibly clear, day and night, and the app is so easy to use that checking in on our baby from anywhere gives us total peace of mind. We have two babies and two Nanit monitors, and the split screen option on the app is a lifesaver. Setup for the monitor was quick and straightforward, and the camera looks sleek and modern in the nursery. I have tried the floor stand, travel stand, and an off brand that attaches to the crib and the floor stand wins my vote. Once my daughter could stand in the crib, she would play with the monitor, so we ended up buying a floor stand for her room too. When we ordered this one for my son, we automatically chose the floor stand! We also love how easy it is to add additional caregivers so grandparents or babysitters can help when needed. As new parents, having a reliable, high-quality monitor has made such a difference for us, and Nanit has exceeded our expectations in every way. I would 100% recommend it to any new or expecting parent — worth every penny!I will say that I enjoy the breathing monitoring and sleep insights during the free trial you get, but I haven’t paid for the subscription. That is one thing I do wish it offered complementary to buying a really expensive monitor!
Customer Review: I love this camera! The video quality is crystal clear, even at night, and the app is easy to navigate. Setup was simple, and I love the overhead crib view. The sleep tracking and breathing monitoring features give great peace of mind. Definitely feels like a worthwhile investment!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Do you ever buy a baby monitor and you know something is going to lacking? Like you just know you are going to be sacrificing something? I’m serious when I say not with this monitor. I have tried at least five different ones from Amazon and I ended up having an issue with every single one. Here is why I was SO pleasantly surprised by this monitor:Pros:- the sound ROTATES ROOMS! Every 10/15 seconds it rotates rooms so you can hear both rooms. Most monitors you have to manually flip it and I needed a monitor I could hear both- because of the size, I can see the kids whole room. Huge plus when friends are over and we need to keep an eye on everyone- the lenses are WIDE angle!! This means in split scree mode, I can see a LOT of the room (which means I can have the whole crib or bed in view even in split screen mode).- speaking of split screen, it is a split screen!! I want to always see both my kids and this does exactly that.- easy charging. This takes USB-C and I can use my charging cables I already have. I do t need to remember a “special” cable. Huge.- it shows the time on the screen. I didn’t realize how awesome this was until I used it as a clock in the middle of the night. Now when the kids wake up I know what time it is right away.- separate volume and brightness buttons. No more hitting so so many buttons to just adjust volume. Quick and easy.- picture is incredibly clear. Actually incredibly clear. I can see my kids breathe, the out lines of their faces, and toys they left in their bed. It’s great.Overall so many things that I love and needed and never found all in one baby monitor. Couldn’t recommend it more.
Customer Review: Update 2/21/26: Have used it 4 months. It’s been on all day of every day. Zero issues at all. Baby’s room is on the top floor and the screen works all the way in our basement. Same with going outside to the hot tub – still works. One thing I have LOVED that I didn’t know I needed: the VOX setting (I think is what it’s called). The absolute best feature on this thing… Basically what it is is that there is no sound coming out of this device until the baby makes noise. We use white noise in her room so with a regular camera I would then hear the white noise all night on my screen. But I don’t want to hear noise unless I need to hear noise? So this device basically mutes itself until it hears the baby and then turns on. Also, previous cameras I’ve used have had the little light bar on the side that moves up and down as it hears noise…hated that thing. It’s so bright when you’re trying to sleep even if the baby’s not making noise. But there’s no light bar on this one. So for me personally, huge improvement. 10/10 recommend. You know how something seems like WAY too good to be true so you’re just waiting for it to fail? That’s where I’m at with this. I’m immediately enamored with this thing, which can only mean it won’t last or something horrible 😅This is by FAR the best monitor I’ve fired up. I’m 3 kids in now and this thing has ALL the features I’m looking for.1. Parent viewing device (no wifi/cloud) to ensure privacy.2. CLEAR picture (thank you Jesus! Finally!)3. USB-C so I can take it all over the house with me and charge it wherever I’m using all my other USB-C devices… So convenient.4. HUGE screen so I can actually see what I’m looking at.Other bonuses – the talking feature through the microphone is weirdly clear… It sounds just like my voice. My last one was so fake sounding it scared my kid!!!The bendy arm it came with for the crib is a real value add – it actually worked and wasn’t cheap. I appreciate the flexibility (hehe) of not having to put holes in my wall. Not sure how practical it’ll be with my 1 year old since I assume she’ll happily rip it off her crib rail when she wakes in the morning. But perhaps I can attach it to something nearby. The buttons have a nice feel to them, the menu is easy to navigate and it feels like a good amount of bells and whistles without adding a bunch of fluff I don’t need. The only thing I can’t speak to is how long it will last but MAN am I praying it does because this thing is SWEET!!!!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This is a great baby monitor that does not need to connect to wifi! It is super easy to use and the monitor has a good battery life on it. I use this when traveling and for the price, it really is a great product! I have yet to have any problems with it! While I do love it, I am not sure I would make this my primary monitor (personally) I feel the wire that connects to the monitor is quite short and getting the best angle would be a little difficult for full-time use. The picture is too zoomed in for me and I prefer to see the whole body. None-the-less, the picture quality is great and audio works well for a great price, I wont leave out of town without this.
Customer Review: This product is incredible, my baby is 11 months old now and we have been using it every single day for 11 months with no decline in its abilities. We use it every single night, and during the day for our baby’s naps. We have never had any connection issues, it is not connected to the Wi-Fi so it can always work. The battery life is still incredible, I don’t think I’ve ever lost battery even when I accidentally leave it on all day. I keep it plugged in all night too. I like the small screen, you can fit it in your pocket and even go garden outside with it, and the connection still stays. I think the only negative I have found is that if the power goes out it doesn’t work. Because the physical camera needs to be plugged in. So unless you’re in an area that gets power outages all the time, I highly recommend this product. We bought a second one just to throw in our diaper bag, so that when we visit family or go out of town, we just have a second one ready to set up in any room at all times. As for the image quality, I find it perfectly fine. If you are an insanely anxious parent and need to be able to see the physical air come in and out of your baby’s nostrils, it probably is not high-quality enough for you. I could usually see my baby breathing if I looked long/hard enough. But mainly it’s just good at seeing how your baby is shifting around, and the microphone is incredibly good so you can absolutely hear when the baby is crying or rustling around. It definitely has night vision, I can totally see my baby at night in the dark. I do wish I could switch between night and day vision sometimes, because every so often (usually in the pack n play with the White mesh) it gets confused and switches it to the wrong setting and then I have trouble seeing my baby.

Customer Review: I have used this baby monitor and camera for almost a full year and it has been amazing, and especially impressive at this price point. Set up was very easy and there are several mounting options available for purchase. The picture quality is good, the volume is adjustable (I turn it up at bedtime to make sure I hear it), and the battery life when not plugged in is great (I usually get a full two days from one charge).Customer service has been incredibly helpful and prompt with a response whenever I have a question.I am expecting again and now plan to purchase the split screen option, which the cameras I already purchased are compatible with. What a relief!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I don’t know where to begin with this one. I bought this monitor for travel purposes since it doesn’t need WiFi. I am so impressed not only was this product cheap but it has exceeded my expectations. The two most important things I wanted in this monitor was to be able to click one button to turn the screen on and off while still being able to listen and it not be a struggle at night and to have good enough signal to walk around. This monitor does both things. I have a very nice and expensive monitor at home that is also not on WiFi. It has been a good one as far as simplicity BUT it has been acting up when my phone is around it and just loses signal. So bad that most nights I can’t even have my phone plugged in or it will not work. Literally so silly. And my room is no more than 10 feet away from my kids room. We are directly across the hall from each other, so signal should never be an issue. It’s just an issue when the phone is near by and using the internet (streaming/ socials media or honestly all pages can be cleared and it just be plugged in and still mess it up). I digress, THIS monitor though has a quality image, good noise, good buttons that arent complicated, the sleep feature on the screen that still allows audio when off, and probably many more features I haven’t played with. Frankly, I’m thinking of just switching monitors. For travel purchases I did get a clip on mount for the pack n play and it also worked well, just search mounts that are compatible with this monitor. 10/10 recommend for a non WiFi monitor. Dont go spending money when you don’t need to, save and buy this.
Customer Review: Love it. Tested it right away. Didn’t take a pic before packing it back. Quality is good. Sound and camera quality is awesome. Feels original and the monitor feels heavy. Easy to setup. Connectivity is good.
Complete Buying Guide for Best Baby Monitor With Camera
Choosing the best baby monitor with camera can feel overwhelming with so many options available. It’s not just about seeing your baby; it’s about getting the right features that fit your lifestyle and give you genuine peace of mind. Let’s break down the most important aspects to consider when making your decision.
Essential Factors We Consider
When we evaluate baby monitors, we look at several key elements. First and foremost is video quality. You want a clear picture, even in low light, which means good night vision is crucial. A monitor with a wider field of view or remote pan/tilt functionality is also invaluable, as babies move a lot! Battery life for the parent unit is another big one; you don’t want it dying right before you finally sit down to relax. We often find that monitors with audio-only capabilities can be a good budget alternative, but for visual confirmation, a camera is key. For those who frequently travel, a compact and easy-to-set-up model is ideal, much like choosing the best baby car camera for road trips.
Connectivity and Security are also paramount. Do you prefer a non-WiFi connection for utmost privacy, or do you want the flexibility of a WiFi monitor that connects to your smartphone? Non-WiFi models typically use FHSS technology, offering a secure, direct link. If you have multiple children or rooms to monitor, features like split-screen capability or the option to add multiple cameras are a must. Finally, extra features like two-way talk, temperature sensors, lullabies, and VOX (voice-activated) mode can significantly enhance your experience. These thoughtful additions can make a huge difference in convenience and comfort for both you and your baby.
Budget Planning
Your budget will naturally play a role in your choice. Basic models with a camera and screen can be quite affordable, often focusing on core functions like clear video and two-way audio. Mid-range options introduce features like remote pan/tilt, longer battery life, and larger screens. High-end monitors, particularly those with WiFi connectivity, offer advanced smart features such as sleep analytics, cry detection, and remote access via apps. While these come with a higher price tag, they can provide a deeper level of insight and convenience. Remember, the “best” monitor isn’t always the most expensive, but the one that best meets your specific needs and budget.
Final Thoughts
Ultimately, the best baby monitor with camera is the one that brings you the most comfort and peace of mind. Consider your living situation, how many babies you need to monitor, and whether you prefer a secure, simple setup or a tech-forward solution. Don’t forget to read customer reviews for real-world experiences, and remember that a reliable monitor is an investment in your peace of mind as a parent.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the main difference between a WiFi baby monitor and a non-WiFi baby monitor with camera?
A: A WiFi baby monitor with camera connects to your home internet network, allowing you to view footage and control the camera from anywhere using a smartphone app. A non-WiFi monitor, also known as a digital or FHSS monitor, creates its own secure, local connection between the camera and a dedicated parent unit. Non-WiFi models offer enhanced privacy since they don’t transmit over the internet, while WiFi models offer greater flexibility for remote viewing.
Q: How important is battery life for the parent unit?
A: Battery life is incredibly important, especially if you plan to move the parent unit around the house or use it unplugged for extended periods, like during naps or overnight. A good battery life (10+ hours in video mode, 20+ hours in ECO/audio-only mode) ensures you won’t be constantly searching for an outlet or losing connection when you need it most. Many parents appreciate a monitor that can last all night on a single charge.
Q: Can I use a baby monitor with camera to monitor more than one child?
A: Yes! Many baby monitors with cameras offer multi-camera support, either by including two cameras in the box or allowing you to purchase additional cameras separately. These systems often feature a “split-screen” mode on the parent unit, letting you view both nurseries simultaneously, or a “scan” mode that cycles through different camera feeds. This is an ideal solution for families with twins or children in separate rooms.
Q: What does “Pan and Tilt” mean for a baby monitor camera?
A: “Pan and Tilt” refers to the camera’s ability to move horizontally (pan) and vertically (tilt) remotely from the parent unit. This feature is incredibly useful as it allows you to adjust the camera’s viewing angle without physically entering the nursery. You can follow a crawling baby, get a better view of a corner, or ensure your sleeping child is always in frame, providing comprehensive room coverage.
Q: Is two-way talk really useful, or is it just a gimmick?
A: Two-way talk is a highly valued feature by many parents! It allows you to speak to your baby through the monitor’s camera from another room, which can be incredibly useful for soothing them back to sleep with your voice, reassuring them, or simply letting them know you’re on your way. It can often prevent you from needing to rush into the room for every little stir, helping your baby learn to self-soothe.
