I works very well, better than expected. I did notice I had to install a check valve on the inlet water line to avoid sudden starts when a faucet is closed quickly causing water hammer. The factory water temperature is perfect at 120 degrees. I did try higher but it was too hot. No change if flow rate from the electric water heater, but a huge change in the electric bill. This unit will pay for it self in a very short time. This unit is mounted outdoors with the controller mounted inside. The installation was very easy and has worked very well from the start. Much shorter delay in the hot water to the faucets and shower.”

Went with 80kBTU unit as we only have 1/2” natural gas supply and other well known tankless heater manufacturers whose names also start with “R” require 3/4 to 1” lines for this distance and their units are rated much higher than we need. (150K BTU).Sound level is minimal, handles one bed one shower space with one fixture on at a time.Quality appears good, but to meet local US building code needed double wall exhaust vent pipe.”

I’m typically happy to repair all my own things without pestering the manufacturer but under these circumstances I didn’t want to void a potential warranty because the unit didn’t look easily serviceable. I suspect the unit has a water flow sensor that failed. I’ve had it for less than a year and only installed it about 6 months ago. In that time I used about 30 pounds of propane before the unit failed.I can’t seem to find anyway to contact the seller/manufacturer about warranty. If the seller contacts me to help resolve the failed unit I will adjust my review accordingly. Customer Review: “Great unit that works well above my needs (1 bath trailer house) I was sceptical for the price but have been very happy with it after 2 weeks of use, showers stay hot and consistent, handles all washing machine needs, runs 20 minutes continuously with a 1 minute recovery in between. Installation was simple and straight forward, and allowed me to condense my water heater cabinet for more floor space in the house. So, a small bucket needs to be placed below for draining.There is a more critical issue: this unit does not have any safety certificate or marking. The vendor said they have a Chinese certificate. That’s not acceptable in the USA. Any item that plugs into the wall power outlet needs to have a UL, csa, ce, marks etc. And a safety certificate available.The fire Marshall and Insurance companies will not accept an UnCertified product installed in the home.Amazon should check into this before allowing a listing.First thing to know is The user Manual is quite incomplete. The vendor has missed our several details.Do they know that this is SUPER CRITICAL item and should have complete documentation with proper installation DRAWINGS. Explaining IN CHINESE ENGLISH is not going to work.Easy to install. Works great.The gas line supplied with the heater is not a Flare, which won’t connect to a normal gas outlet. Get an adapter Flare to FIP.One thing to know: the minimum flow rate to activate the burner is a kinda limitation: if you turn on the Hot faucet in sink, it likely won’t trigger the burner and you won’t get hot water ever.This item as a Central water heater won’t work well. But as a local heater close to the shower it will do great.I gave a gas powered laundry close to the Master bath. This will fit will there. It can trigger by shower or laundry instantly. And Gas, water lines and 110V outlet are available there.For Central water, the Tank system is still better. It does take a long time to get hot water in every faucet EVEN after installing a recirculation pump.There’s no perfect solution.”
