Customer Review: Wow – I’ve been using the Epic water pitcher and filter for about two days now. I am amazed how quickly I have water that doesn’t taste over-chemicalized. I just moved into my current house, and one of the first things I noticed is how bad the water tastes. The chlorine and other chemicals were over-powering to me. I almost always cannot drink tap water no matter where I live (I think that I must have a sensitive sense of taste). I had been buying gallon jugs of distilled water for several years, but that gets really tiring. I decided to try this pitcher and filter system. With my first glass, all the “yeck” taste was gone – and I mean ALL of it. I noticed that someone had said that it took so long to filter. My pitcher filters within minutes. Try smaller amounts of water at a time. It’s so quick that I decided to only use this water for my three cats and three dogs as well as for me. I have a pitcher that I keep in the refrigerator for cold water that I created from my Epic filter system. I am very grateful that I found the Epic water pitcher and filter system. Customer Review: The Berkey is the best water filter system around. I’ve had this one for years. It is stainless steel and has 3 filters in it. 2 are charcoal and one is for arsenic etc.there is a pre prep that you have to do first with the charcoal filters before u install. But once u follow those directions, you can start filtering your water immediately. This system is not cheap, given the system and then the replacement filters. But boy does it ever work! If I give you water from my tap and water from this system, boy oh boy it’s incredible of the taste difference. I live in SF. The filters last a few years but you do need to remove them to wash them off if just plain water. It’s true that u can add food coloring to this system and your water will come out crystal clear just to prove how good it is.

Customer Review: It took 15 minutes of priming EACH FLOURIDE filter at first, THEN about 15 Full tank dumps of the Travel Size before I noticed the oily residue at the top of the filtered water disappearing. As stated, it was not there during the black filter only use. Tasted it after those 15 dumps and it is similar or the same as black only. Friends had reported a sweet taste with flouride filters and I believe they did not even come close to running 15 tanks through at first, so they returned them as I have seen others tell a similar story about their flouride filters. Five stars is for the two black filters on the Travel Berkey after they were fully primed/flushed.

Customer Review: I looked at all the knock offs. I try to save money when I can. I just ordered a $35 over the toilet shelf organizer because I didn’t care about the bathroom so much. So I’m totally willing to go cheap. No other filter company was willing to make the claim that you could put freshwater from a river or a lake into the filter and have drinkable water. I thought about the reason that the other filters were cheaper which should be cheap labor, cheaper materials, etc. And I found out the city I live was adding fluoride and you could taste the chlorine. I was buying my water at the street for $.50 a gallon. And I found myself traveling a lot. So I had to do something. The final bill was under $600. I bought the arsenic and fluoride filters along with the kit. I’m about a month now. I have zero regrets. I’m so glad I didn’t get a knock off and then I got the real thing. The water taste great. It’s hard for me to drink water sometimes. I try to bless it. I’ve bought organize stuff to try to change the vibrational frequency of it. I do what I can to water to make it taste as best as possible. And I just forget to do those things with this water because it taste so good already. I still want to do those things with the water, but I forget. I know my water is awesome. I never have to worry about the quality. I use it for everything. And it feels awesome that when I have guests over, I know that they’re getting awesome quality water. You can definitely save a lot of money by going with another filter company that will filter the water and do a pretty good job. Customer Review: This is the first water pitcher filter I’ve had, but I think it’s great. I no longer need to buy the numerous 3 L bottles of spring water I’ve been getting for decades, lugging them from the supermarket every week. Also, I don’t have to worry about microplastics in bottled water. This water pitcher filter usually gets the best reviews of comparisons with other water filter pitchers, removing more harmful contaminants overall than the others, including fluoride, which I am particularly concerned about because I don’t want to drink it, and my city, as is the case with about 80% the municipalities in the country, fluoridates their water. I sent out a sample of water filtered with my Clearly Filtered Water Pitcher specifically for a fluoride test, as several reviews that tested it said it had no detectable fluoride, but a couple others found some–in one test it only removed 33% of the fluoride and in another it actually actually increased the fluoride something like 160% over the unfiltered water, but those results were probably false readings because of the testing methods used. My results came back with no detectable fluoride, and my city, according to the testing company’s data, fluoridates the water to 0.71 PPM at the water facility, and at the tap it is 0.5 PPM. I don’t know of any other water filter pitcher that effectively removes fluoride like this one, except one that is said to add aluminum. The filters for this are claimed to last about twice as long as other brands, lastng about three months if the picture is filled every day. I’ve used the filter about two months now, although only filling the pitcher about every other day (in which case it should last six months), as I mainly use it for coffee, and although the filtration has slowed from when I first got it it’s not too bad–it seems to slow more in the bottom third of water left in the reservoir. The filtered water tastes fresh and free of the taste or chlorine by-products you often get from tap water, and works very well with coffee. Because I use it for coffee, I keep the pitcher unrefrigerated on the kitchen counter, shaded from the spotlights by being stored under the shadow of cabinets and a microwave oven. I think the Clearly Filtered Water Picture it is well-made and designed, but be sure you are getting one with the newly modified reservoir that came out about a month ago, which Clearly Filtered accommodatingly sent me free as a replacement, which has two vertical ribs on the front of the reservoir to take up the space between it and the body of the pitcher; the ribs prevent the bottom of the reservoir from swiveling forward in front and raising up about a quarter of an inch above the top edge when pouring. The only downside is it makes the reservoir harder to remove, as I was afraid to pull too hard on the attached front half of the lid. As opposed to some other comments I’ve read, I do have confidence in the strength of the handle attachment to support the full weight of the pitcher when full. Within the last year, they redesigned the priming bag, which is now clear instead of blue, to be easier and more effective to use, and I had no problem with it. (When I first tried to remove the priming bag, for several minutes I ridiculously tried to unscrew the top rim of the filter, which is permanently attached, instead of the primer bag itself, which screws on and off easily.) The company customer service through Amazon messaging is very responsive, and as I mentioned, they sent me the improved replacement reservoir for free when it was available.

Customer Review: The design of the water pitcher has good durability. It is a bit heavier than my Brita pitcher. From many different water pitchers, this one has a TDS meter that detects the condition of the fresh water source. If its zero, or close to zero, it is safe. If it is over +300, then it is not drinkable. The device is AAA-battery powered and removable from the pitcher, so you can safely dip it on any fresh water. The sliding compartment on top of the pitcher to pour water is much simpler than Brita’s design pitcher. Whenever I closed the Brita pitcher, it always make a “tak” sound. The Culligan does not do that. Culligan’s filter is the most unique than any other filter including Brita. Of course, when I first bought it, I was astonished of its large size but for a reason of its purpose. In the interior of the filter, it has many different layered components to remove most of the bad stuff just as it is shown in their product box. The overall price cost of this pitcher is affordable to my account. Comparing to Brita’s price cost is much higher than Culligan. The replacement for the Culligan filter is around over 30 dollars or higher depending if you’re getting by two, three, four, or six in a single box. In my opinion, I would definitely choose this product than any other. Brita is okay as it filters most of the bad stuff and its TDS meter level shown was above 10 and below 20. But Culligan helps to filter out more than Brita or any other pitcher product. I only used this product for a few weeks. The filter is still good so far. No changes yet as it is still brand new when I bought it. Been only using it to filter water bottles and water gallons. I tried filtered tap water once. I was astonished how it becomes drinkable. I have read comments from other reviewers that they experience that their filters did not last long between a few weeks to a couple of months depending of their own water resources. I will continue and observe my own product. I may update my review again if any changes of the filter.
