Not having to pre-rinse saves water and time. It comes with a hose, but no electrical cord. Amazon recommends a kit to solve this problem. I’m glad I took the chance on it. Totally worth it!”

After 3 unsuccessful visits to my house and countless emails and calls to Sharp support they finally replaced it but wouldn’t pay for removal of the broken one and only paid $200 for install when the cheapest I could find was $250. I will never buy Sharp again! Original review below The Alexa features are a huge gimmick, had to get that out of the way first. The washer itself is really nice although it was a pain to install. It does NOT include a power cable, so you’ll need to purchase that separately. Fit and leveling was a real hassle , won’t be great for everyone but it cleans my dishes well and that’s the point, right?”

Customer Review: “I was dubious at best. I have worked residential construction most of my life and know that there is a big difference between a good dishwasher and a bad one. I also know that difference is not always based on “brand” or “price”, it is based on how well it was designed. The first thing I noticed when I got the box was that it was really light, usually not a sign of “quality” in my book. I did notice though that it was very well packed. Double boxed with a lot of foam. I pulled it out of the box and set it on the counter for my first real look. 1. Finish looked pretty good, the door was a little off from being straight, but in reality it was less than a 16th of an inch off. As a finish carpenter we get a little too picky sometimes. 2. Opening the door I saw there was a good amount of tape and reinforcement to hold everything in place while shipping, nice! 3. Set-up was probably the easiest for an appliance I have ever done. There is a nice sink faucet adapter that replaces your sink screen that should easily fit most newer faucets. (This is the only real flaw I see in the whole machine) The adapter that the hoses hook to replaces the screen on your faucet and just leaves a hole about 1/4″ for the water to come out when not using the dishwasher. Well you know what happens when you restrict your garden hose down to a small size. That’s right the pressure goes way high. The first time I turned on the water to wash something by hand the water hit the bottom of the sink and rebounded from the sink bottom and sprayed a good deal of the surrounding area. I am not sure how this can be fixed short of changing out the adapter every time and replacing the screen. But that would be a pain. Just use a little caution the first few uses. 3. The hoses both connect to the sink using a fitting not unlike a typical “shop air tool quick release fitting. The hoses have very different threaded ends on the appliance end making it vitually impossible to mix them up. 4. Plug in the power cord and you are installed. The instructions call for a dish detergent as well as a liquid water drop residue remover. For the first run I thought I might as well give it a good run for it’s money. I packed it with glasses some with dried milk in the bottom, plastic containers used for spaghetti sauce, a Pyrex dish that had been used for lasagna and a handful of silverware. I had only barely scraped the containers and Pyrex the night before so there was a fair amount of dried food on them. I picked the heavy duty setting to be fair and waited. When I opened the door I will have to say I was no less than astonished! Everything was spotless. The wine glasses were well, spotless and totally dry. The milk glasses, the same. I pulled out the Pyrex last knowing that was the big test. TOTALLY CLEAN! I have owned some really high end washers in my life and this washer despite its diminutive size produces right up there with them. REALITY: 1. It is very small. I would say 5 place settings and a few serving utensils about max it out. 2. I have had a few things come out with a small amount of dried food on them, but I rarely pre-rinse. 3. My hot water heater is set pretty high so the water coming in is already very hot. Does this make difference, I don’t have any idea. 4. I always run the hot tap water before hooking up the machine so I know it starts with good hot water. 5. When not in use the 5′ of double hose need a home, and be sure to drain the water out of the hoses into the sink after letting off the pressure with the little button because there will be more and it will end up soaking your countertop. Conclusion: A great machine! I would buy it again. I would recommend it to anyone. I am actually going to be installing mine permanently into the wall which I can already see is going to be a chore. From what I can tell none of the fittings on the hoses are standard size and thread, so Mr. Creative is going to have to go to work. I called the factory and they won’t even discuss the possibility of permanent mounting so no help there, but it’s not supposed to be permanently mounted so I can see their point. If you are short on space and tired of washing dishes by hand, this is the washer for you.”

Customer Review: “I’ve owned this dishwasher for more than a year now (I purchased it in August 2016), and I love it. It fits on my counter and works like a champ. I run it a couple times a week. It does a fantastic job on everyday loads, and the party setting is nice when you’ve got a bunch of glassware from a get-together to wash. The silverware basket is removable, which is nice for loads where you’re just washing bowls and plates and mugs/glassware. A few caveats for prospective buyers: 1) This thing is heavy. I managed to wrestle it through the house and back into my kitchen, but you might want to get a friend if you’re not in the habit of moving heavy objects. 2) MEASURE THE LOCATION you want to use for the dishwasher. It’s heavy, yes, but it’s also deceptively big. Make sure you’ve got the space to put this chunky little chub before buying. 3) Dishwasher pods work great, but use Finish or another rinse agent in conjunction with them. I found they’re a lot easier and reliable than the in-door powder dispenser, which can sometimes get stuck if the silverware basket is full and a stray fork or knife blocks the little door from popping open. I’ve used both Finish pods and store-brand (Kroger) pods with equal success. This model has an indicator that lets you know when you’re running low on rinsing agent, too, which is nice. 4) Make sure you clean the little basket at the bottom after every few loads, especially if you’re not a pre-rinse fanatic. 5) I recommend opening the door to let the dishes dry more effectively and empty it as soon as the dishes are dry. Overall, I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone who needs a dishwasher for one or two people, doesn’t have a built-in, and has the space available near their sink.”

It has a full sized back magnet that sticks well enough to allow slide function without movement on the front of the dishwasher. That was a concern for me, having a new stainless steal washer that I’d rather not scratch. However, the product includes two good sized double sided stickers if you feel they would be useful in keeping kiddos from making your magnet disappear. If I were to need that I would probably opt to purchase the removable 3M type stickers for myself. The slide functions very easily with simple one finger action, no extra pressure needed. Persoanally, I liked the gray/white over the black/white options due to the warmer soft tones in my home and it blends in more with my stainless than the harsher black would. I also prefer the lower case soft cursive makes the product look less industrial since its not a delicate size and the slider type I wanted are kinda boxy looking as it is. Overall, I do like this a lot and do recommend this particular dishwasher magnet. It showed up quickly, no assembly needed, and so easy to use. Now all I need is some training for the family!!!”

These pans are beautiful, they’re a very sturdy weight but not too heavy to handle. They cook very quickly and distribute the heat well. The stay cool handles are a fantastic feature. Cleaning sometimes causes me to use a little elbow grease but I’m fortunate to be one of those people that learned what elbow grease was. It’s the most expensive set I’ve ever bought but I wanted something that I hope will last me the rest of my life and it was a fair price, especially because I got it during prime days at almost half price. I kept my old set until I was sure that I was going to like these but I’m ready to get rid of it now. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for something to last a long time.
