I purchased several of these containers: two this size for flour and corn meal; others in the appropriate sizes for sugar, brown sugar, powdered sugar, baking powder/soda, cocoa powder, etc., and love them all.- The lids are truly air tight. I bought these because we had a major infestation of pantry moths and had to throw out most of our dry goods (!!!), and we needed to convert to air tight containers to prevent further problems.
