I am a grandma traveling with a 3 year old so lugging a car seat wasn’t going to happen along with all of our luggage. I found this vest along with a competitor. I ordered both to see how they fit him and ease of use. This vest fit best and easier to adjust on him. The other one had straps over both shoulders that I couldn’t make small enough to fit him. It’s very easy to place on the child and strap him into a car. I hope this works out well for our trips. I feel pretty confident it will. It folds up easily and comes with a storage bag.

I was able to easily bring onto a plane for my son to use while on the plane. I did attach it to a dolly successfully to make it easy to move throughout the airport (with my son in it). The quality of the fabric is great and it’s really easy to adjust the straps.My son was comfortable the whole time and successfully falls asleep/stays asleep in it. (I love safety 1st car seats). My little guy feels like a big boy in his new seat and it didn’t break the bank! It has decent padding, is lightweight so easy to install and remove out of the car, it’s a smaller design vs other booster seats so fit easily in the car with my 2 older boys in the back seat. I love the teal color as does my little guy. I wish the cup holders were a little deeper but they are large enough to fit his cups, and he has learned to grab them if he sees them tipping over so it’s not a big deal. He is still in the harness so unsure of how well the safety belt option works, but we will be testing that out kn a few months.

I did a ton of research to assure myself that it was a legitimate, safe product, and finally purchased one last weekend. It arrived overnight, and we were immediately able to put it to the test, as we were going to visit family over an hour away.It was simple to inflate, and is placed in the backseat of the vehicle like any other booster. After my daughter sat onto the UberBoost, I fed the lap part of the seatbelt through the guides on the left and right of the booster seat, and then used the shoulder belt adjustment strap to keep the shoulder belt away from my daughter’s face and neck, and into correct placement over her shoulder.The adjustment strap was the only slightly confusing part of installing the seat – one side of the strap needs to be secured via a tight slip knot around one of the back loops of the booster seat. It took me a minute to realize that I had to use the loop located on the same side as where the child is sitting. So, if your child is seated on the right side of the car, it would be knotted through the right loop, if they’re seated on the left side of the car, it would be knotted through the left loop.Once the adjustment strap loop is secured to the seat, you bring the other end of the strap up and attach the plastic buckle to the seatbelt, adjusting the clip/belt downwards, and firmly snap the buckle closed around the seatbelt.It was absolutely simple, and according to my daughter, extremely comfortable, “Like sitting on air..get it, Mom? Cuz you used air to blow it up?” We were traveling via Uber, so I was able to sit next to her in the backseat and observe.
