Customer Review: “I have two-year old twin toddlers and a three month old baby whom I EBF. With my twins, I only used cloth nursing pads, and felt that they were more absorbent, comfortable, and provided great coverage. Also, I tandem nursed them until they were four months-ish. I found bamboo nursing pads (not Bamboobies) when they were about five months, and just loved how incredibly comfortable and soft they were. But, I pumped after that. And, I was on a pumping schedule because I had two little mouths to feed. So, those pads worked well. I didn’t allow too much time in-between pumping sessions, so I wasn’t really leaking.Fast forward to EBF my baby. I haven’t pumped, so it’s all on demand. With that, she’s a great feeder, but there are times that she’s slept too long, we’ve been out somewhere, and I started leaking in the same pads that I formerly loved and highly recommended. There is a difference between pumping nursing pads and BF nursing pads… by that, I mean for the function. These are more suitable for BF since there is a longer break time than the strict pumping ritual.As for me, I haven’t leaked once out and about even if my baby sleeps too long, I wake up feeling dry because they are so absorbent (unlike before) and sometimes I can “reuse” them without having to wash them because they are that dry! [Either that or my body is getting familiar with her demands] I do also enjoy the shape of them… much easier to fit in the bra opposed to the circular shape. I do like wearing my hearts upside down… in case I leak below.Even though I purchased the larger pack… the 6 PAIR (three night, three day), I might have to purchase another. Seriously. So worth it when I can’t get to washing my pads during laundry days (I also CD).I do have to say that I was going to purchase a similar pack (unavailable at Babies ‘R Us), but it didn’t have the 6 PAIR, and WITH a coupon, it was still going to be more expensive (once the pairs and price were factored in) rather than purchasing on Amazon. With Prime, I also got free shipping and didn’t pay tax, which was a factor should I purchase at BRU.Definitely cannot recommend these enough. A must-have gift for any BF mother. As for pumping? Customer Review: “I’ve tried a several brands of washable nursing pads….including Fuzzibunz and a super-duper absorbent pad with no waterproof backing. The one without waterproof backing was awesome because it conformed to the shape of the breast; not so awesome because if you are a super-soaker like me, it eventually did leak through. The fabric also was very stiff once milk dried on it, and Ouch! it would stick to my nipples during early nursing days. And, although it was supposed to become “softer” with each washing, it didn’t, and never again were they as soft as the day purchased. So I moved on to Fuzzibunz, thinking these would be super soft and leak-proof. They were supersoft at purchase, but with each subsequent washing, the were less so until they became kind of ‘felted’. It was still relatively soft, but not luxury. They did improve the leaking issue, but on the downside, it seemed that I could never get them completely clean, no matter the number of rinses, washings, different soaps, non-soaps, etc. And as soon as I would leak into a ‘non-clean’ nursing pad, a slightly sour milk smell would immediately appear, and of course would then be on my skin. Another downside is that the Fuzzibunz didn’t conform to my shape as much. And I could see the outline of both of these types of pads thru clothing.So now I’m trying Bamboobies. First, they are made primarily from bamboo, which is cool. So far, I really like them and wish I had more. You wash before wearing the first time, and they are super super soft! Softer than before washing! And they have remained soft. I’ve worn the pink hearts during early nursing days when I really needed more thickness…so needless to say I leaked. These are super thin, like a thick T-shirt and will be sufficient when I’m no longer a super-soaker. But even when wet (and then dried on skin because I didn’t have extra pads with me), the fabric remained soft, no sticking to nipples, the waterproof lining worked 100%, and then after rinsing/washing, there has been no residual odor, no recurring odor when they get wet again when worn, and they have remained soft thru multiple washing, not changing from the softness after the first washing. My only complaint is that they don’t totally conform to the shape of my breast, so sometimes there are a couple of bumps under my clothing. However, the Bamboobies hearts are the thinnest I’ve encountered, so other than that, they don’t show thru. Also, I haven’t yet figured out the best position to place the heart. It’s recommended up or down, but that’s not really the best position for best leakage coverage for me.On the blue circle Bamboobies, which are the thicker version… I prefer the round version since that’s what I’m used to, there is uniform coverage / space around the areola, there aren’t the occasional bumps showing thru and they are thicker which is what I typically need. And although they are thicker, they are still thinner than the Fuzzibunz and other brand. So, this ‘thicker’ version, which is thinner than others, works just as effectively during my super-soaker moments, if not better. And of course, they have remained super soft. We’re talking bunny-ear soft.It would be ideal if Bamboozies came out with a third option, for thin and round.”

Customer Review: “The media could not be loaded. I purchased 14 pack L 4.8”. I wear a 34 D to 34DD Nursing Bra plunge cup and have been using them daily for 3 months. I originally bought the Kindred Bravelypads and returned them because I was dissatisfied with their softness and size. Last pregnancy I used the Lansinoh disposable pads. These are the same size (in diameter) as the disposable pads but larger that the KB pads. They absorbed fine but were really itchy, even when I didn’t have a rash.PROS:•Softness: Very soft both at the edges and layer that touches the skin. I’ve developed a super fun new postpartum condition of a full-body, super itchy rash that’s worst all over my breasts. These puppies have really helped decrease the irritability and severity on my breasts. When my rash is flaring up, I like to change out the pads 1-2x a day to keep it as dry as possible. The softness of these pads are SO APPRECIATED especially during a flair up!•Size: Great large size. I was worried the circumference would be too big and peek out the top of my plunge cups. Not the case if I position them right!•Absorbancy: Fantastic! I haven’t had any leakage at all! And that says something because I’m still in the newborn phase and my breasts are leaking all the time.•Value for the money: YES! Absolutely!CONS:•I don’t really have any! I’m VERY pleased with these! If I really racked my brain, I suppose, the washing bag they came with is too small.•Maybe wicking? They’re not completely dry to the touch if I’m producing a lot of milk. But, in that case, I’ll change them out.WALKAWAY AND NOTES:•I wash these in warm water (to be sure the milk proteins come out of the material) If you wash them in cold, it reduces the absorbancy and makes them kind of stiff and itchy. I wash them with cottons/ natural fibers on a normal setting, not delicate because I want to make sure then get a good wash. I don’t put them in a “delicates bag” either for this reason. I dry on high to kill any bacteria that might be there and to be sure they’re dried all the way through. They come out softer with every wash and not at all damaged or decreased in quality or “build”.•I wear 1 set of pads per 12 hours on most days unless I’m suffering from a rash flair-up, in which I’ll use 2 sets in 12 hours.• I LOVE THESE AND AM SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE THEM!”
