Customer Review: These are a lifesaver, easy to store, don’t rust, and seal is excellent. Even the color coding has helped in my ferments. They are durable and I hand wash mine easily. One point I have to stress with these is do NOT crank down the lids. They seal perfectly with little tightening, and if you crank them they lock down hard, especially with temp changes. They fit great and the seals are easily installed. Other than that one point, theyre awesome, and fair price.

I wanted stainless steel lids that did not have to have a silicone gasket (just an extra thing to clean). The lids do come with high quality silicone seals (great for storing liquid to allow for no leaks) but I can remove them for dry goods and the lids still screw on nice and tight. They are about the same thickness and quality of the famous brands I have, but a third of the price. The only difference is that the rubber seal is not built into the lid. It comes loose, so you lay it in if you want a rubber seal. But it seals fine without the seal for me just sealing up extra soups,etc. to put in the fridge. But you can make it totally waterproof by putting in the rubber seal (included). They screw on perfectly and feel as durable as you can make them, and easy to wash up an reuse like new hundreds of times. And you get a lot more lids for a lot less price than the other brands I shopped for.
