Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “this is a solid product, after a Moen and a Delta got destroyed over the last 5 years in our family kitchen, I decided to try Pfister and see if it can hold up.This is a well-thought-out product. It is easy to install as well but here’s a tip, pay attention. The water connection hoses are brutally inflexible, therefore, before you do any lockdown to the sink, ATTACH THE HOSES FIRST.If you don’t you will be in a wrestling match under your kitchen sink for a while, you could possibly lose.Another observation, you have two choices before locking down (which is a breeze with the tool provided, this was the easiest part)You can either use the plate provided, or the set ring for the shaft .If you have only one hole in the counter, I would suggest the ring stand, toss the plate. If you have an older setup with 3 holes, use the plate.”
Customer Review: “Easy to install. Doesn’t quite live up to the claim that it can be installed without getting under your sink. That would require not hooking up the water lines which would defeat the purpose of having a faucet. 😁 Attractive fixture and works well.”

Took me a little over an hour because I hate going under the sink. It was easy though. Quality seems great. Easy to swivel or move the faucet/sprayer from side to side or out of the way. Great water pressure. I really like the restaurant look and it easily goes back after you pull the sprayer out. Make sure to install the weight provided at the spot they designated with tape. Simple upgrade at a great price.”

It’s super helpful and looks really cool at the same time.Installation was very easy and straightforward. I had no issues setting it up, which was a huge plus. Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “In 2006 we installed a different company’s faucet, which worked well until its rotational axis froze up. As a result, when you tried to turn it, instead of pivoting on an axle, the entire appliance simply loosened, requiring a clumsy trip under the sink and past the disposal to tighten two almost unreachable screws. After the first freeze, I complained to the manufacturer, who impressively sent us a new faucet, for which I am grateful. But after just a few years, that one froze up too. Thus the purchase of the Moen. It was a dream to install, it works very nicely, looks great, and clearly does not feature the same faults. It even matches our insta-hot 190 degree faucet in appearance. Who could ask for more?”
Customer Review: “UPDATE 13 months after initial review:I just had to change the batteries for the first time since installation so I wanted to update you all to let you know to plan on replacing the AA batteries after a year or so. I was surprised that the manual operation of the on/off faucet handle also stopped working when the batteries died. I thought that would work whether the batteries died or not. Once I replaced the batteries, both the manual operation handle and the sensor both worked again. I am still very pleased with this faucet and highly recommend.Original review:I had this new faucet installed by a handyman a couple of days ago and so far I love it! I am somewhat handy but honestly, when I opened the box and saw all the parts, I immediately said NOPE and called the handyman. It wasn’t worth it to me to risk getting in over my head and turning this job into a potential Lucy gets herself into a pickle again episode.I have never had a faucet with an on/off sensor before and I must say I’m really enjoying it. When I bought this I figured if it turned out that the sensor was finicky and frustrating I would just use the handle and ignore the sensor but thus far I am very much into the sensor and hardly ever opting for the handle (except out of habit). The sensor is extremely sensitive so you don’t have to worry about having to wave your hands around like a crazy person trying to make it turn on or off. Just put your hand in front of it on the left side and water is immediately on or off. There’s no waving or hunting for the right spot at all.I can see the plastic box mounted on the wall under the sink that contains the AA batteries (I can’t recall how many) so it won’t be difficult to change them when the time comes. It’ll be interesting to see how long they last. Hopefully it won’t be too frequent.Aesthetically, I think it looks great. It has a clean, simple, transitional design, not overtly modern or overtly country farm house but it really could work in either.I appreciate the higher placement of the handle, not so low like my older one that got very close to the counter and was hard to wipe clean and dry underneath. I also like the long hose of the pull down sprayer. It is longer than my old faucet which allows me to more easily cover the whole sink.Overall I am very pleased with my new faucet and I like that Moen provides a lifetime warranty, just in case.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “The installation on Moen products is a breeze. Well written step-by-step directions and thoughtful installation tools are included in the box; there was no need to YouTube anything except how to get my OLD faucet disconnected!. There are extra pieces to a motion sink, such as the battery pack AND the connections go into a small plastic box that has to clip onto the faucet stem, rather than supply lines going directly to the faucet head. I was a little worried about all this stuff fitting in with my air gap tubes and soap dispenser, but if fit and functions better than the old pull-down faucet did. Despite all the differences from a traditional faucet, the installation took about the same amount of time as it took me to remove my old faucet. We have yet to see how well the motion feature hold up, but upon initial setup and use, this faucet is beautiful and easy to use. The motion feature can easily be disengaged and it can also be controlled with the lever, even when the motion feature is on.”
Customer Review: “I bought this to replace a similar model with motion sensors. The motion sensors are a waste of money. i love the boost setting that allows you to have more pressure to clean the food off the dishes. Wish I had bought this one first. Easy to install, works exactly as I need, and the quality is Moen worthy.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I waited to write reveiw until I had used a couple weeks. This is my favorite faucet ever. Removing old faucet was the hardest part. Instillation went easy. And I am not handy with tools. Instructions were clear to understand. Matching soap dispenser a bonus. I love touchless feature. No more cross contamination fears. And when filling my dishpan, it cuts off at just the right amount of water. The pull head weight is much cheaper feeling than expected. But it stays up in docking area well. (Would have liked a magnetic dock) Swivel neck has smooth movement to access all corners of the double sink. I do recommend keeping a small cloth under the sensor so that when waving “off” drips from hand do not get on the deck plate. It does get water marks occasionally. But these wipe away easily. (Brushed bronze is beautiful.) There is a nice pause feature on the nozzle, as well as stream and spray. This was; I feel, an amazing deal on Amazon on sale. ($185.00) I had been looking for months for that perfect faucet. And found it!”
Customer Review: “This faucet is significantly more expensive than similar ones available on Amazon, but I spent the extra money after reading this review: https://www.amazon.com/review/RGPCIDXEKXTDE/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B079LC6RHK. The ability to turn on/off with either the sensor or the handle offers a much better user experience, and Moen seems to be the only one doing this. The faucet was relatively easy to install, and it worked great, except that I was having unattended turn-ons a few times a day (fortunately it’s designed to automatically shut off after 2 minutes). I contacted Moen support for help and they were fantastic – very responsive and no hassle whatsoever. They sent multiple different components for me to replace in the process of troubleshooting. Ultimately the issue was in the optional AC power adapter which I bought separately. Once replaced, the issue is gone. They were so good to me that I will gravitate to the Moen brand for future purchases. The one thing they should’ve done better is design it for more flow. 1.5gpm is very low flow, imo.”

Customer Review: “We wanted a simple inexpensive upgrade to our bathrooms and this was it. This was the best price I could find for this faucet online. It was simple to install, and I like knowing that there is a lifetime warranty with it too. Works great, no issues at all, looks and feels and functions high quality.”
Customer Review: “Moen Halle Spot Resist Nickel Widespread Bathroom FaucetThe day after I clicked “buy” on one of these, the price jumped from $80 to $167. After installing it, which was easy, we decided to get a second one, but I wasn’t going to pay that much. So, I moved it to “saved for later” and watched the price. A couple of weeks later, it dropped to $74 and I bought one immediately (price was over $160 the next day). Forewarned is forearmed. These faucets replaced Pfister brand faucets that started to leak out of the handles (which I’d never seen). A nice installation feature of these Moen’s is that the included under counter hoses connecting the spout, hot, and cold can be removed (to be reattached later) by pressing a button with a finger. This is critical if, like me, you inadvertently install the hot valve on the cold side and vice versa (I know, you wouldn’t do such a thing!); and have to redo the install.I don’t understand the handful of bad reviews that claim poor quality. From my experience in installing maybe 100 faucets of every kind imaginable, these are well designed and good quality. The all brass valve assembly is quite heavy for example. Yes, there is some plastic — but virtually all faucets have some plastic parts. For the last few years, I’ve bought only Moen faucets, as they have been the most reliable for us.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Good: Just about everything. Nice design and finish. Installation was as easy as can be with an existing sink with disposer, that is to say, awkward and tedious at times but definitely do-able. Extra-long, reinforced hoses let me remove the extensions the old faucet needed, yielding a simpler, cleaner installation under the sink. Sprayer retraction method is simple and effective, just be sure to pay attention during installation and when storing stuff under the sink to make sure the hose can’t snag on anything. Components above the sink are solid when properly tightened. The spout moves so easily I thought it was loose at first, but it doesn’t leak.Bad: Nothing significant. Five stars.”
Customer Review: “I recently purchased a Moen Kitchen faucet for around the same price from Home Depot. When I went to install it I realized that all the supply lines, the sprayer and even the pull out hose for the sprayer were all plastic. it looked and felt cheap. It was only a Moen in name certainly not in quality. So I decided to order this faucet and give it a try as it states that all the supply lines are from braided stainless steel. I received my facet and installed it and it appears to be a very good quality faucet and exactly as it is described. Especially for this price. Great value. I was able to install it with little effort and it works GREAT. Very surprised. Not a name brand and It’s not a Grohe, but it’s really nice!! Also, I was curious about the warranty which is printed on the back of the installation manual. The faucet comes with a lifetime warranty on everything including the finish for the original purchaser for residential use. De”
Complete Buying Guide for Best Kitchen Faucet For Rental Property
Essential Factors We Consider
When selecting the best kitchen faucet for your rental property, several key factors come into play beyond just the initial cost. Durability is paramount; you want a faucet that can withstand constant use by various tenants without breaking down. Look for solid construction materials like brass or stainless steel, and ceramic disc valves for drip-free performance. Finishes like brushed nickel or stainless steel kitchen faucet options are excellent for resisting fingerprints and water spots, which means less cleaning for you and a consistently cleaner look for tenants. Ease of installation is another big one, especially if you’re managing multiple properties. Features like quick-connect hoses can save significant time and effort. Also, consider the water flow rate; a high flow kitchen faucet can be beneficial, but be mindful of local regulations. Finally, simplicity in design often equates to fewer moving parts that can fail, making a straightforward pull-down or pull-out faucet a reliable choice over overly complex models.
Budget Planning
Budgeting for kitchen faucets in a rental property means balancing upfront cost with long-term value. While it might be tempting to opt for the cheapest option, investing a little more in a durable, reliable faucet from a reputable brand can save you money in the long run by reducing repair and replacement costs. Consider the overall aesthetic of your rental; a sleek, modern faucet can increase the perceived value of the kitchen. Think about the potential for water damage from leaks caused by cheap, failing faucets, and weigh that against the cost of a higher-quality model with a solid warranty. Ultimately, the best kitchen faucet for a rental property is one that tenants will find easy to use and aesthetically pleasing, while requiring minimal maintenance from the landlord. Prioritize models with strong warranties, easy-to-clean finishes, and robust internal components. A reliable faucet contributes significantly to a positive tenant experience and fewer headaches for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What’s the best finish for a rental property kitchen faucet?
A: For rental properties, finishes like brushed nickel, spot-resist stainless steel, or chrome are generally best. They are durable, easy to clean, and resist fingerprints and water spots well, which helps maintain a clean appearance with less effort from tenants.
Q: Should I choose a pull-down or a standard faucet for a rental?
A: Pull-down or pull-out faucets are highly recommended for rental properties. They offer greater flexibility for cleaning large pots and the sink itself, a feature most tenants appreciate. Standard fixed-spout faucets are less versatile but can be a more budget-friendly option if flexibility isn’t a top priority.
Q: Are touchless faucets a good idea for rental properties?
A: Touchless faucets can offer a modern, hygienic upgrade that tenants often love. However, they typically come at a higher price point and may require battery replacements, adding a minor maintenance task. If your rental property targets a higher-end market, a touchless faucet could be a worthwhile investment to enhance perceived value and convenience.
Q: How important is easy installation for a rental property faucet?
A: Easy installation is very important for rental properties. If you’re handling the installations yourself, quick-connect systems and clear instructions can save significant time and frustration. If you’re hiring a plumber, easier installation means less labor time and therefore lower costs.
Q: What features should I prioritize in a rental kitchen faucet to ensure durability?
A: To ensure durability, prioritize faucets made with solid metal construction (brass or stainless steel) rather than plastic. Look for ceramic disc valves, which are known for their longevity and drip-free performance. A good warranty from a reputable brand is also a strong indicator of a product built to last.
Choosing the right kitchen faucet for your rental property can make a surprising difference in tenant satisfaction and your maintenance workload.
