Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This slicer works so well for beef jerky! Every cut is the same so every piece is uniform making the dehydrating process easier! The knife is crazy sharp we cut 60lbs of top round and it’s still just as sharp. Clean up is a breeze!
Customer Review: Ended up returning, even with a change surface and making sure the suction cups were on a flat surface it slides all over and I decided would be too dangerous for me, it does cut really well though and maybe if I had a different flat surface it would stay in place better but alas I don’t. I think quality rubber feet would’ve worked better for my countertop. This meat slicer works but definitely can give your a bit of a work out. I ended up changing the way I had the meat in the cradle a couple times until I found the easiest way to slice it and once I found that it was a huge difference in the amount of effort it takes. I also recommend slicing on a surface that is somewhat before easiest level so you have better leverage, I slice on a counter that was a little over my waist height and the slicer was actually shifting on my counter as I used it which could be dangerous, I also have tile countertop and I don’t think all the suction cups had a flat surface to stick on (the grout was in the way). The blade is really sharp and the meat chute was easy enough to attach to the plate on the slicer. It took me just a few minutes to slice a frozen solid brisket into pieces to marinate before turning into jerky. I really like it so far, cleaning it was not the easiest, I chose to wipe it down with a soapy sponge then a clean sponge and dried with a paper towel since taking it apart seemed more effort than I was feeling like putting into it, LOL. I do recommend this product, really going to up my jerky game now that I don’t have to buy pre sliced meat from Costco. I love that I get to choose the cut of meat I want thin sliced. This meat slicer is lightweight, material seems sturdy enough to last, it did come scratched up a little bit I don’t think it affects the ability to do it’s job.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: The little slicer that could. Took a leap of faith with this cheap slicer. It’s everything I wanted: compact, adjustable, suctions to the counter. It’s really no frills but works well. Sliced a 2lb pork slab in minutes…so easy to use. The blade was sharp and comes with a replacement. You can adjust the thickness of the slices with the knobs. I’ve achieved slices anywhere between 1-3mm thick. Only drawback is you can’t disassemble the slicer, so I wash everything carefully with soap and dry with a cloth. Instructions say coat with a layer of neutral oil to prevent rust. The cleaning isn’t too bad if you slice a bulk amount of meat at once. Also, the slicer can be stored in a 3 inch wide box, so takes little space in the kitchen. For the price, this slice is so worth it.
Customer Review: This is a really good cutting machine. I’ve tried others but they broke after a few uses. The blade is sharp and easy to use. I recommend this!

Customer Review: Very good quality, but a pain to clean. I would recommend buying the cut free gloves to clean this slicer. Watch a youtube video and spend the extra money. It slices very thin, and is much better quality than the one I replaced.
Customer Review: The slicer is powerful and works perfectly. It can make incredibly thin slices. Easy to adjust and I like the metal parts rather than plastic. It’s easy to setup but the instructions are useless. I weep for the tree sacrificed for the useless paper. It’s no more or less easy to clean than any home slicer. I’d buy it again.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: For many years, I have been using 7.5in electric meat slicers that are less than 200W, made cheaply and constantly finding ways to repair them, but surprisingly, they did the job. Now with this 10in – 240W VEVOR Commercial Electric Slicer, slicing food and meat is a whole lot easier. At this point, I have sliced roast, homemade deli style meat, summer sausage, bacon and bread. This VEVOR slicer does a very good job.The only minor issues that I have is with cleanup. There is a spot where the food holder fastens to the sliding carriage that is a little hard to clean. The other issue deals with cleaning the cutting blade because you really need to remove the blade for it to be cleaned properly. The blade removal is a hassle in that you have to use a hex driver (that is not provided) to remove three screws that hold the blade in place. Also, handling the blade can be tricky, but it can be done. There are two tapped holes in the blade assembly that I put bolts (bolts not provided) into so I can handle the blade safely and easily.I was interested in seeing if there were any accessories or digital documents for this meat slicer, so I visited the VEVOR website. There were no accessories or documents. I contacted their customer service and they really provide service. They did not have any document on hand but they sent me a copy of the user’s manual, which they either scanned or had access to. It comes with a user’s manual, but I seem to misplace manuals all the time, so I try to digital copies of manuals on my PC. VEVOR customer service goes out of its way to help their customers. As far as price goes I got mine before they increased the price and got a deal. I got a feeling that they increased the price because of shipping costs for this heavy and large slicer. I did notice VEVOR website gives a price break for registering the product, when it is purchased from them directly. Here is the review ranking basis that I have adopted:⭐️1 star – I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars – I don’t recommend it, it has multiple faults.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars – It’s passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars – Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars – Product that I totally recommend.
Customer Review: I had previously purchased the OSTBA 200W deli meat slicer. It is effective but pretty much an entry level product. The seated blade sometimes shreds the meat unless o make the slices thicker. For the price, it is worth it.The Vevor 10″, 240 W slicer is about $150 more than the OSTBA but, if you can afford it, is worth every penny. Other units at this level were another $100 on top of that so the Vevor is a bargain, comparatively. It’s a very solid unit with a beautifully sharp blade and include a self sharpening attachment. The difference is night and day. You get what you pay for and you get a lot with this unit.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Got this for Xmas and so far it’s awesome (after 1 use)! It’s smaller than I expected but that will help with storage. It is heavy; good when you’re using it so you’re not worried about the machine sliding around (the rubber feet also help), not so great when moving it around from storage. Instructions aren’t great but plenty of YouTube videos out there. Build quality feels really good and sturdy. The adjustment knob is wound tight so don’t be afraid to use some muscle, same when taking off the tray. Action is smooth and quiet. Sliced some leftover roast beef and it was paper thin. Cleaning is kind of a pain as you have to take things apart but it’s worth the effort. Can’t wait to use this more!
Customer Review: This slicer is fantastic. Well made. Slightly smaller than the huge ones you would see at a deli counter but without loosing the quality solid feel when working with it. This would work well for a small to mid size caterer or in my case, someone that wants the pro-level slicer at home. It stays firmly put on the counter while you are using it and will cut paper thin slices. I’ve wanted one for quite some time. This one for me is the best value for the money.
Complete Buying Guide for Best Frozen Meat Slicer
Essential Factors We Consider
When searching for the best frozen meat slicer, there are several key factors to keep in mind. First, decide between a manual meat slicer and an electric meat slicer. Manual slicers are often more compact and affordable, ideal for occasional use and smaller batches, but require more physical effort. Electric models, while typically larger and more expensive, offer speed, consistency, and are perfect for frequent or high-volume slicing. The blade material and size are also crucial; stainless steel or alloy steel blades are durable and sharp, with larger blades (10 inches or more) being more versatile for various cuts. Look for precise thickness adjustment mechanisms, usually a knob or dial, allowing you to achieve everything from paper-thin shabu slices to thicker cuts for sandwiches. Safety features like blade guards, non-slip feet or suction cups, and safety switches on electric models are non-negotiable. Finally, consider ease of cleaning; removable parts and accessible surfaces make maintenance much simpler, which is important for hygiene.
Budget Planning
Your budget will significantly influence your choice of frozen meat slicer. Manual models are generally the most affordable, ranging from $50 to $150. These are excellent for basic home use and offer great value for money. Semi-automatic electric slicers designed for home use usually fall into the $150-$400 range, providing more power and convenience without a full commercial price tag. For those needing professional-grade performance, perhaps for small catering or frequent large-batch processing, commercial-style electric slicers can cost upwards of $400, sometimes reaching into the thousands. Consider how often you’ll use it and the types of meats you’ll be slicing to strike the right balance between cost and features. Remember, investing a little more upfront for a durable and efficient model can save you money in the long run by reducing waste and avoiding the purchase of pre-sliced foods.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the best frozen meat slicer comes down to your individual needs and cooking habits. Whether you opt for a simple, efficient manual model or a powerful, precise electric one, the right slicer can transform your kitchen experience. It empowers you to create custom cuts, explore new recipes, and enjoy significant cost savings. By focusing on durability, adjustable thickness, and essential safety features, you’ll find a dependable tool that helps you master the art of perfectly sliced meats for years to come.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I slice completely frozen meat with a frozen meat slicer?
A: While these slicers are designed for frozen meat, it’s generally best to slice meat that is partially frozen – firm to the touch but not rock-hard. This “semi-frozen” state (around 25-30°F or -4 to -1°C) allows for easier, more consistent, and safer slicing, reducing strain on the blade and motor (for electric models).
Q: How do I clean my frozen meat slicer safely?
A: Safety first! Always unplug electric slicers and wear cut-resistant gloves when handling blades. For most slicers, you should disassemble any removable parts (like the blade, food carriage, and pusher). Wash these parts with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry immediately to prevent rust. For non-removable parts and the main body, wipe down with a damp, soapy cloth, then a clean, damp cloth, and dry completely. Some manual slicers may benefit from a thin coat of neutral oil on the blade after drying to prevent corrosion.
Q: What’s the main difference between a manual and an electric frozen meat slicer?
A: The primary difference lies in operation and power. A manual frozen meat slicer requires you to physically push and slice the meat, offering more control over speed and thickness, and it’s usually more compact and affordable. An electric meat slicer uses a motor to power the blade, making slicing faster, more consistent, and less physically demanding, especially for larger quantities. Electric models are typically larger and more expensive but offer greater efficiency.
Q: Can I use my frozen meat slicer for other foods like cheese or vegetables?
A: Yes, many frozen meat slicers are versatile enough to handle other firm foods. They work well for slicing hard cheeses, firm vegetables like potatoes or carrots, and even some types of bread. However, very soft cheeses or extremely watery vegetables might not slice as cleanly and could make a mess or clog the blade. Always check the manufacturer’s recommendations for versatility.
Q: How can I ensure uniform slices every time?
A: For uniform slices, ensure your meat is consistently semi-frozen. Place the meat firmly against the food carriage or guide plate. For manual slicers, apply steady, even pressure and a smooth, consistent motion. For electric slicers, let the machine do the work; guide the meat steadily through the blade without forcing it. Regularly sharpening your blade (if it has a built-in sharpener or can be removed for sharpening) will also significantly improve slice consistency and quality.
