Trisha Haas, this is for you!

Since the year is almost over I have decided to start doing some posts on the top 10 things that I’m most grateful for from the year 2009. Here is my first post:

momdot

Since September of 2008 I have been lucky enough to be part of one of the best forums and online communities in the blogosphere; MomDot. When I first started blogging I had no idea what I was going to write about, other than my kids and had no direction whatsoever. After joining MomDot I met some of the world’s best bloggers/mothers/friends. Trisha you have been nothing but kind and supportive to all of us that belong to your forum and I am so lucky to have met so many wonderful women in one area. There are so many wonderful things that I could say about you Trisha, but since you know how I feel about you and your wonderful online communtiy let me tell it to all the bloggers and readers who don’t.

MomDot has been talked about, Trisha has been talked about but with stories and stuff from people who don’t know her like some of us do let me tell you that she is a wonderful person that sets out to help others online. She encourages us all to be who we are and have fun. She has taught us all many things that have helped us with our blogs and personal lives. She has been the rock behind all of us pushing us to reach our full potential without anything in return. Just when you think you’re done or tired of it all she pulls you back up and lifts your spirits with kind words and amazing advice. The love and support that I have received from Trisha and all my fellow MomDotters is more than I ever thought I would have received and has filled me and my blog up with some wonderful smiles, friendships and opportunities.

We are two very different people but respect each other very much. It amazes me how two people that are so different and live so far apart can ‘meet’, have fun and share many stories, thoughts and opinions and become friends. I don’t know where I’d be today without Trisha, MomDot and all my fellow MomDotters and I’m glad I don’t have to know. I’m happy where I am and with the wonderful friends I’ve made.

So here’s to you Trisha! Thanks for a wonderful year and I can’t wait to share 2010 with you as well! *Cheers*

Great Post hun, and it says it all! I don’t really know where I would be if I never meet Trisha and the Momdot girls. I have to say I don’t even know if I would still be blogging. Trisha and all the support over at MD is amazing and I love that I have been able to meet some great friends. I love all the support and the advice. And you are very right we all from all walks of life and have all different beliefs but one thing we all agree on is be yourself even if we don’t always agree. Most of all I love momdot cause I meet you , and I love you girl! You are for sure my long lost sister.
