Swine Flu?

So some of you already know that I’m sick and have had a fever….BAD cold! YUCK! So yesterday my daughter hears about the swine flu and realizes at that same time that, ‘hey, mama is sick!!!’. So she starts getting all worried!

Her: ‘Mama, why are you sick? Do you have the ‘slime flu’?

lmao

Me: ‘No, honey, I don’t have the “slime” flu. It’s just a cold! And it’s not “slime” it’s swine. Like the pig.’

Her: ‘Oh good! So how did someone get the swine flu?’

Me: “Well you get it like you get any other virus; by not washing your hands, touching your nose, mouth or eyes with dirty possibly infected hands, by sharing your drinks or food and by kissing.’

Her: ‘GROSS!!! Someone kissed a pig?’

lmao…Why do I even try? So thankfully today she was fine with the fact that mama just has a cold and DOES NOT have the “slime” flu! But she has insisted on taking a water bottle to school so she doesn’t have to drink out of the water fountains. Yep….she’s mine! lol Already becoming a germaphobe like her mother!
