Small Talk Six

Today’s topic of Small Talk Six is the 6 most romantic or unromantic things that have ever happened to you. Here are mine:

1. (unromantic) When my hubs and I got engaged. It wasn’t romantic but wasn’t exactly unromantic…just not what I had in mind. We went to a jewlry store to ‘look’ at rings and when I picked one that I ‘kinda’ liked he whipped out cash and bought the ring right then and there. There was no, ‘will you marry me?’ or anything it was just assumed.

2. (romantic)Our first Valentine’s Day together *I* went out and bought heart-shaped balloons, candles, roses, rose petals to lead from the front door to our bedroom, wine and nice wine glasses, V-Day decorations and a new ‘pretty’ from Victoria’s Secrets. Sooo….romantic! Probably the most romantic thing we’ve I’ve ever done.

3. (romantic) Dancing with my hubs for no reason at all with no music.

4. (unromantic) My husband’s idea of romance…’hey, wanna fool around?’ Umm…NO! Wine and dine me first please!

5. (romantic)My husband sitting down with my mom and spilling his heart about how much he truly loves me. Ahhh…

6. (romantic)My hubs buying a CD (on his own) and dedicating a song to me. We danced and shared a couple sweet kisses in our living room. Of course the kids walked in, “Ohh…gross mom! Quit kissing”. lol
