Tax season is coming up and you know what that means right? Tax refund baby!! The one time of the year I both hate and love. Hate because I hate going through the hassle of getting it all done and turned in on time but love because…well having the extra money to do whatever I want/need to do with is awesome!
Something that we *need* this year is a new dishwasher. Ours is getting ready to die on us and is not cleaning the dishes as well as it should anymore. So a new dishwasher is probably on the list this year as well as a new oven. But that might mean that I have to cook more so we’ll see. More than likely I will have to really shop around since I try to be as frugal as possible to stay on budget, so I’ll have to compare shopping prices left and right to to find the best deal.
I’ll be shopping deals also looking for the best price for new carpet. Yes, that’s right! I have finally talked hubby into getting carpet instead of pergo flooring since I really want to save money. So there you have it…..my top two things I want to get with our tax return this year.

This is the one time of year I hate hate hate with a passion. We never ever get a tax refund because of my home based business, it’s always owing the govt. money. ugh. But good luck on finding that dishwasher.
That sucks ladies! We always get back at least a couple grand. But it’s the way we have it set up so the gov’t takes more out of dh’s paychecks each month. It’s kind of our personal savings acct. lol
