And as you can see in that pic, my dh is wearing shorts and a short sleeved shirt and he’s BBQing! Yeah, that’s right…it wasn’t cold outside but she *had* to wear this. And ya know what? I’m picking my battles. If she wants to wear it (as long as we’re at home) then I could really care less!
What is the funniest thing your child has worn when he/she dressed him/herself?
I’m really bad when it comes to Miss O. I always pick out her clothes, even if we are staying in for the day! Everything has to match. Little Miss , is adorable ! She is just making sure she doesn’t miss anything and is ready for all the holidays !
LOVE it! I completely agree with picking your battles. Plus it’s a little something she feels she has control over. Totally helps her develop a sense of self not to mention self confidence.
Last summer my then four year old wanted to go out wearing two different colored striped dress socks, b-ball shorts, crocs, and a red shirt. We went out for pizza-my husband was flabbergasted-the boy was happy as could be!
Too cute! As long as she doesn’t have to go out in public ; )
