I am a stay at home mom of three beautiful, smart, time consuming (when they’re awake) children! I always wanted a lot of kids…10 at least! (Ok now….get up off the floor! Stop laughing and rolling your eyes!) Well….my first born was 19 hours of almost pure hell labor so after that I decided that 6 would be my lucky number! (LMAO!!! Yeah, right!) So then she turned 2…and then 3! Terrible 3s are definitely worse than terrible 2s! So THEN my lucky number was 4!
Sooo…then I got pregnant with my son with the help of fertility drugs after one miscarriage and almost 2 years of not having any success. He was the hardest pregnancy, labor and delivery! It was terrifying!!! (But that’s for another day!) But after he was born he just was an absolute joy! A great sleeper, a smiler, a good eater…he was just an all around easy baby! Health wise was a different story but again, that’s for another day!
Well…surfrigginprise!!! Along comes baby number 3 before we were “ready” “(are you ever really ready though? REALLY?) She is the hardest one out of all three of them! She is stubborn (she gets that from her dad’s side! [wink wink]) She is picky, hardheaded, likes things HER WAY or NO WAY! She doesn’t like to go with the flow, she is a routine/schedule baby! So…my lucky number (for now) is 3!
Come along with me as I go through the joys and heartaches of having and raising three children by myself. Not financially by myself but emotionally and physically by myself; my hubs works all the time so I have all the home/family responsibilities. I will also go through the pains and struggles of dealing with a child with ADHD, another child with numerous health issues and another child with major attitude problems! lol I love to get (sometimes) advice from other moms that are going through some of the same things as I am…just don’t be one of those pushy ‘do it my way or else’ kind of advisers!
At the end of the day I’m tired but plesantly happy with life. There are always going to be things that need to be fixed, resolved, cleaned up and I will always need more money. But this place will let me get it all off so at night when my head hits the pillow I can say my prayers and be out! I won’t have to play all these thoughts through my head until I finally fall asleep 3 hours before I have to get up and get kids ready for school and so forth! I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
