Ok seriously? What in the hell is going to happen next to make my week a little crazier? Seriously!!! Anyone want to put anything else on me? C’mon…I swear I can nottake it! So today on my husbands way home from work he calls me and says, “Honey, there’s been an accident.” WHAT? OMG!!! “Are you ok? What happened?” I’m totally peeing my pants while asking these questions. You might remember me saying before that my sister’s fiance died in a car accident and that I’m a total FREAK about cars! So thank goodness he’s ok. My car on the other hand…yeah, not so much. He was pulling onto the highway when a lady plowed into the back of him. He stopped the car and there wasn’t even an ‘I’m so sorry!’ or anything from this woman. Ok manners much? Yeah, I didn’t think so!
So he gets home and I check out the car. No major big deal…it’s still drivable. But when I went to go grab some Subway I was so embarrassed! When she hit the back of the car she also got the muffler so it sounds like one of those ‘cool’ guys’ cars. You know the ones, they make their car as loud, annoying and ‘decked out’ as they possibly can. Which I totally believe is because they’re compensating for something. Yeah, I sound like one of those guys. Hope I’m “cool” now! lol
So on top of everything else; the kids and all of their million appointments this week, all the errands I have to run, appointments and meetings I have to attend and…….oh I could go on and on forever. The good thing is it could’ve been so much worse and it wasn’t. And for that I’m grateful! But seriously, now our car is busted, my frigerator is leaking all over my ever loving floor, my computer has been being a ginormous pain in my ass all weekend, my kitchen cabinet broke on me and my cell phone keeps dying because the not-so ‘smart chip’ keeps coming out of place. Did I mention before that I need a vacation?
UPDATE: I just got the call that the other insurance company is accepting liability! YAY!!! Now all we have to do is get our car to the shop without pieces falling off and get our rental! I’m so relieved! Making a million phone calls in one morning really gets things movin!

yeah, i backed into someone and i feel like a moron driving a car w/ a dent in the bumper. We are having a hell of a time FINDING a bumper for our car.
Eeek! I’m so happy it wasn’t “bad” sort of speak. I remember my first car accident (and hopefully my last) and to this day it has me terrified!

When stuff breaks, it breaks all at once. At least that’s how it happens here. And it waits until my husband is gone.
That stinks that your hubby got rear ended. Glad to hear it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been.
Just start blaring your radio…then no one will think anything of your loud muffler noise.

YAY on getting them to fix it! LMAO @ the cool guys thing! Hey at least you will be considered cool for awhile huh! that is the MOST annoying sound EVER! Oh and glad hubby was ok!
