HAPPY VALENTINE’S
DAY!!!
Today was a great day with my kids. We got up this morning and made a wonderful breakfast and then started on normal chores so that we could have fun later. After naps we did a craft; Valentine’s Day cards. They love using all my tools! Then we did some games and then headed off to bake cupcakes! My daughter picked out strawberry whipped icing and rainbow sprinkles….they were wonderful!
While the cupcakes were in the oven we ate our dinner of a Valentine’s Day heart-shaped pizza, sliced red peppers with lite ranch dressing and green grapes. The kids were so excited that our pizza was a heart! We all sat down in the family room and watched Night At the Museum on sleeping bags while we ate our pizza.
Then after the cupcakes were cool enough we paused the movie and started decorating them. Little Miss was in heaven…she LOVES cupcakes! So tonight was a good night!
OHHH….AND my dear husband came home from work with a beautiful rose and card for me! Ahh…how sweet! Don’t worry…he quickly ruined it by saying, “Well now can I get some tonight since I bought you a flower?”.lol “Nice try hon, I’m not that easy!”.Ahh…men…
