Elefun and Friends Games Review & Giveaway (Ended)

elefun logoKids love games and kids love games that are fun, silly and make noise even more! These two games that I’m about to share with you are just that; fun, silly and they both make noises. These games are sure to keep your kids happy and busy and I found that both are great with either fine motor skills, balance, hand-eye corrdination and learning to take turns.

The first one is the Giraffalaff Limbo.

Giraffalaff Limbo Box

This game is unlike any limbo game you’ve seen and probably played with as a child. This one plays music and makes sounds. Press the little button to turn on the music and spin the spinner to see which limbo style you are supposed to do. There are six different limbo styles; backward, classic, crabwalk, giraffe walk, forward and crawl. Each time you move the stick down it gets trickier and trickier and if you knock the giraffe  the music will stop and he will start laughing and giggleing at you. My kids thought that was hilarious so they would knock it down on purpose! lol

This game is great for balance, exercise and learning to take turns. It’s easy to put together, turn off, take apart and play with. Even my 2 year old was having a blast with it! This one is a great one to put on your Christmas list for your child. For ages 3+ and requires 2 or more players.

The next game is called Scatterpillar Scramble.

Scatterpillar Scramble Box

Out of the two this one is my favorite and my kids’ favorite. This game comes with the Scatterpillar, small, colored, plastic marbles and tong-like grabbers. Turn him on and watch him move as you try to place the marbles on each of his ‘hands’ from top to bottom without dropping them. Whoever gets all theirs stacked first wins. The tricky part? The Scatterpillar moves and shakes while playing music.

The kids loved it but I have to make sure to either keep a very close eye on my youngest or keep it out of her reach as the marbles are little and could be a choking hazard for small children. Again, easy to put together, doesn’t fall apart and keeps my kids busy for a long time! (Bonus!) Another great gift idea for this holiday season! One more reason why it’s a great buy…Scatterpillar Scramble was named the 2009 Preschool Game of the Year by Creative Child Magazine. This game is for ages 4+ and requires 2-4 players.

But wait…don’t rush to the store just yet, I have two games to giveaway. One Giraffalaff and one Scatterpillar to two different winners! See below on how to enter!

My kids and I were playing a game and sticking face part stickers on a paper and then drawing a face around it. At some point the three year old stuck an extra eye sticker on my forehead and I forgot about it. I went to pick my second grader at school and alot of people were staring at me like i had three eyes or something when a friend pointed out to me that I did have three eyes. I was so embarassed and my son thought it was so funny that I didn’t know. Now I check in the mirror before heading to school :)
