Like most moms I am a complete coffee fanatic! I love everything about coffee; the smell, the taste, the temperature, the caffeine and adrenalin rush…all of it! I am also a Dunkin Donuts coffee snob! Seriously, I have been stuck on Dunkin Donuts Hazelnut Coffee for a while and won’t drink anything else.
I’m sure many of you know that I have been completely in love with the Keurig and wanting one so bad that I’m almost willing to do anything for it! However, I recently saw this coffee machine.

It’s the Nescafe Dolce Gusto by Krups. Not only is this coffee machine adorable (LOVE the red) but it features an auto shutoff and makes:
- cappuccino
- iced cappuccino
- latte Macchiato
- Caffe Lungo
- Espresso
- chococino
OMG! I’m salavating over here! The only thing I wouldn’t like about this is that I don’t think I’d be able to have my must have coffee, Dunkin Donuts Hazelnut. But I’m sure I would learn to love their 100-percent Arabica fine ground coffee.
The other one that has me melting is the Krups XP1500 Coffee Maker/Espresso Machine. YUM! This one makes 10 cups of coffee quickly and easily on one side while the other makes cappaccino, lattes and espressos just as quickly and easily. Sounds like the perfect after Christmas dinner treat to me!
I’m not sure which one I will get yet. My coffee maker is older
than dirt and on the brink of dying on me. OMG what would I do without my coffee? My house would be a wreck, my kids would go around hungry and dirty and nothing would ever get done. And the headaches I would get? Ugghh…I don’t even want to think about that!
I don’t know though! It’s hard to say right now. I’ve had my eye on the Keurig for a long time and love all of it’s functions and look as well. See?
Beautiful right? Functional and their coffee choices make me drool! I’m sure I could find one that would kick my Dunkin Donuts addiction to the curb. I love that the Keurig holds up to 10 cups before you have to refill and that you can set your size and temperature of your coffee. This one also has an auto shut off/on feature and even a digital clock and has five cup sizes! The sleek design of this one is really enough to do it for me!
What’s a crazy mom-housewife-caffeine addicted-coffee drinker to do?

Ooooh I’ve been coveting one of these machines as well…I can’t decide between the Keurig or the Tassimo. I like the idea of brewing one cup at a time because I’m the only one in my house who drinks coffee and it always goes stale!
Me too! I’m the only one that drinks coffee in our house which is why I love the one cup brewing idea. However, I love to drink it all day long so I really want something that makes more than one cup at a time. ??? Hmm…I’ll have to check out the Tassimo as well. Thanks Heather!

I like the red one! It reminds me of the movie Robots! If you do get one of the single serving coffee makers that require pods or cups, look online. I have a Senseo, but I’m not crazy about their coffee (or the maker much anymore), so got reusuable pods that I can fill with whatever coffee I want! You just have to make sure it will work w/your maker! Problem solved (maybe)…you get to keep your Dunkin Donuts coffee if you want!
Oh that would be fantabulous Kim! I would definitely want to get some reusable ones but I wouldn’t mind trying out some new coffees as well.

Definitely amazing Christmas presents. Why don’t more people give these as wedding gifts, too? Gosh. I got so much bakeware it was like a conspiracy. lol I know of one couple who got THREE George Foreman Grills, too… I’m thinking there was a sale that month.
LOL Lindsey! My coffee maker was my great grandfathers. Seriously! Then my dad took it when he died and traveled with it. It was probably made in ohh….1990!? I’m serious…older than dirt!

I am such a coffee lover too and we totally need a new machine…ours does one thing…turns on and turns off…when we do it. That’s it. No auto nothin’.

I have only ever tried the Keurig from those you listed and I use it CONSTANTLY. I use it for hot water too for tea (the tea K-cups are good but pricey compared to tea bags and they taste just as good) multiple times a day.
My daughter would love that Kim! She loves to have hot tea during the winter! I didn’t know they had tea K-cups! Interesting…I’ll have to check those out.
That’s the Keurig we have, and it stopped my DH from stopping at Dunkin Donuts every morning before work. It’s much more economical that going out for coffee long term.
Well if it worked on your dh maybe it will work on me! lol
I have the cheapest coffee maker alive — all of those would make my heart stop beating for about 5 seconds if I had one! I’m with you — I hear angels singing and I’m drooling!!!!
LOL Britt! I don’t even know how much this one that I have would have cost in ’90 but I’m sure it was the bottom of the line since my great grandpa was as cheap as they come. lol
I LOVE my Keurig, but that red Krups machine looks awesome! So futuristic!

Wow that would be a difficult decision. Fortunately for me I’m a simple woman and love my bodum.
Buy the Keurig – just go out and do it. I tried to win one on so many bloggy giveaways and was just a big old loser, I tried to review on, and I guess at the time my stats weren’t high enough. So I broke down and bought one. Don’t regret it one bit. And…you can get Donut Shop coffee for it in the k-cups. I love the Timothy’s World brand, but heard Green Mountain is coming out with one too.
See, I like the Keurig because I only usually have one cup of coffee a day and making a whole pot for just one cup seems like a huge waste. Plus, I love that everyone can have a different cup of whatever they like best including tea and cocoa. So cool! I’m still up in the air on whether to get a Tassimo or Keurig. They’re basically the same thing right?
That 1st one, could possibly push my Francis Francis off the shelf…it’s one hot piece of machinery.
I love the design of the red one. Since we don’t drink coffee I can’t help you with the choice but they all look fantastic.

Ohhh, I like the red one!! I am not an every day coffee drinker, but when it gets cold (like today) I want one all the time! And we had a Dunkin Donuts and they closed… I was crushed, LOL So now I need a good coffee maker…. hmmm… time to shop….
Hon, you can buy Dunkin Donuts coffee at Wal Mart and other grocery stores! It’s (here anyways) about $8 for a package.

LOOOVE my Keurig…. I make iced tea and hot chocolate in it too. I use it all of the time! I have that exact black Krups you have in here and it’s sitting on my counter and has been used once. Hubby got it as a gift from work awhile back and it’s nice but too much work for me. LOVE the Keurig. Did I say that?

I have been eyeballing the Keurig too, as well as a few others…
last year my coffee maker died & I had company coming… so I bought a top of the line black & decker at target… all kinds of buttons & timers… but it makes terrible coffee, I have to deep clean it way to often for me, as I am the only coffee drinker in the house too. So I have been looking at ones that make one cup at a time, I am a snob too… only for Caribou, and I know Keurig has several blends of Caribou… and the K-cup to fill with your own… I like to get the special blends they only have out for a short itme, like the Amy’s blend (2 x a year for breast cancer awareness) and now one of their holiday blends, Reindeer… I am not one for flavored coffee, I like the roasts & blends… I have heard of Krups, but I do not need the fancy smacy stuff… a single cup of FRESH coffee at a time, really appeals to me! and I do drink tea & hubby occasional tea, but his fav is cocoa.
Let me know what you choose… I am anxiuos to hear more about this Keurig or the similar Tassimo. As Fresh is the best way to enjoy coffee, not sitting in a pot all day getting bitter! yuck!

I was fortunate (VERY FORTUNATE) to win a Keurig. I love my Keurig. I live for my Keurig (LOL). It’s the greathest thing since sliced bread (to quote my mom).
My brother in law got a Keurig when they first became available and ever since then I have drooled over them. I wanted one SO BAD! Finally after entering a zillion giveaway I finally won one and it’s been great!
The Dolce Gusto looks neat, but my heart belongs to Keurig!
I have a Keurig and LOVE it. I mena it;s one of the best appliances I have ever had. I can have coffee, tea, hot chocolate anytime I want. It takes no time and the K-Cups are delish.
