Even though I don’t personally know this mom or her little 2 year old boy, Ezra, this is going to be a difficult post to write. See Ezra was just diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia a couple of days ago. He is already starting chemo and is going to be doing his best to kick cancers ass! Now I’m sure many of you either have a friend or family member with cancer or know someone who did, so you know that cancer is nothing to mess around with. It’s serious, it’s difficult and it’s fatal. Why in the world children have to get these terrible diseases is completely beyond me. Ezra is beautiful, he is innocent, he is full of life and deserves to live a long one. I will keep sweet little Ezra in my daily and nightly prayers forever!
Here’s another problem, Ezra’s parents have one car! ONE! Their family doesn’t live all that close, his dad can’t miss work all the time and Ezra’s mom has to get him to and from the hospital for all of his doctors appointments and chemo treatments. Obviously having to do this with only one car is going to be impossible for this dear family. Many of us are blogging, donating and so forth…anything to help out this family. See that’s the wonderful thing about blogging; you get online, meet some friends and when you have a crisis you have immediate friends that are there to help you out. Blogging is much more than a hobby…it’s a lifeline for those of our friends that are in need.
